Poitin - Houston - Photo album

I liked the modern and refined ambience at this restaurant. It was generally quiet in the main dining area when we arrived for a late Sunday brunch, but the bar area was relatively livelier, and had bar chairs and booths. I thought it was great that there were TVs at bar area as well. I enjoyed the
First time coming here during happy hour. Food was amazing and creative in taste. We got the fried pork skins (Saigon kick), hummus with pulled lamb neck, and ceviche (yellowtail tuna) for appetizers. For entrees, We for the fried chicken sliders (from happy hour menu) and heirloom polenta entree. E
Tried Poitin for brunch on a Sunday and had a great experience! All of the food was delicious, the service was great, and the space is well designed. Only downside was the wait time on the drinks, even when the restaurant and bar weren’t that busy. I recommend asking your server about portion sizes
What an amazing, aesthetic taste experience! All of the cocktails we ordered had such complex flavors, changing as they moved across our palettes. We enjoyed 2 seasonal cocktails, Monk's Mushroom & Swamp Dram, and a few from the sophisticated menu, Smoked Old Fashion, Iago's Patience, & Fiddle Fern.
Best unobstructed view of Houston’s skyline: fall is the perfect time to visit Poitin. The outdoor seating is beautiful this time of year. Chef Dominick Lee has created a robust, flavorful menu with a lot of small bites and gourmet eats. The food is really good.
Apps are great - Entrees need work Service was great (George)- attentive and super nice guy. Apps - burrata was delicious, great portion size and well balanced - hummus was delish and lots of it - edamame, cool, smoky flavor - roasted vegetables, delish and great spread. The one app that fell sho
Beautiful view to downtown especially in the evening. Great service and over waiter is very friendly and knowledgeable. The Burrata Salad was our favorite appetizer followed by the Mussels A La Plancha with very nice broth. Heritage Breed Port Belly is not tender as we expected and kind of tasteless
Very happy with our meal. Came on a date night and emitted the atmosphere food and staff. First off the view of down town is great the have a lot of out door seating so it can be enjoyed. We started with the hummus b it was very tasty. I had the pork belly and my wife had the espresso rubbed flank s
Everything I ate was on point, except the cornbread, excellent taste profiles, perfect cooking. Incredible mixologist at the bar. I had the pre-fixe menu for the neighborhood resturant week. Eat for charity. Oxtail croquettes, baseball steak with beans and potatoes, ooey gooey cake. Added picni
We had a company party here recently and the location is great! Lots of parking, spacious main dining room for seating, large bar and a big patio with a view of the Houston skyline. We didn’t eat from the normal menu, instead had a catering menu. The cocktails were great, there was a smoky old-fashi
We really enjoyed Pointin. Fantastic menu. I wanted to try all dishes. Will definitely come back for the rabbit and duck next time. I had the octopus, which was cooked just right. Love the virgin cucumber cocktail. So refresh! Nice environment and great customer service.
I had the Benedict which is cornbread with a poached egg (I substituted it for a scrambled egg) crawfish tails, andouille sausage and chopped up bell peppers. It was delicious the only thing is the cornbread was cold and kinda tough which I feel as though it had been sitting out for a while. I’m ver
We went for happy hour and we loved it all! Great cocktails, one of the best old-fashions, and the Sancho was awesome!! Great food, the oysters, hummus and pork rinds were amazing. And Great service! We will be back!
This place is AMAZING. Hands down the best view for a restaurant in Houston. The decor has a NYC vibe that takes you to the big apple. Drinks: order the smoked old fashioned- it will be the best one of your life. The ceviche is great but tiny. The elote is prob the best way I’ve ever eaten corn. Cor
The food was really great but what I loved most was the service. Our waiter was attentive and the bartender gave me a small flight of whiskey because I couldn't decide what to order and they brought the bottles to the table and explained each drink. This is an excellent date night place.
Loved just about everything here. Especially the aesthetic. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very large open spaces. Really cool new area, and right across the street from holler brewery. I do with they had a few more options for brunch, but everything my table had was fantastic. Really ni
All the food we had was delicious. Bit of a rough start getting us a table and someone to wait our table. Because of the food and drinks they still deserve a 5 star review.
Poitín is a new restaurant that opened up in the Sawyer Yards, a creative campus full of industrial warehouses near to downtown. There is a huge parking lot, so you never have to worry about your parking your vehicle. I went with my girlfriend on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch. The interior
