We were greeted very nicely and directed to our room. The lobby was very nice and the people working there give excellent service. The room was on the 7th floor. The beds were great and comfortable. The next morning we had a free breakfast the omelets were delicious as was the rest if the breakfast again great devices.
I had a very basic room, but it was one that I picked, which meant it was quiet, away from the lift and stairs and inside facing the courtyard. Only complaint I have is the room didn't have a safe. As a guest from a foreign country, carry passports, money etc, it would have been nice. I didn't eat at the hotel, but the cookie they gave me at the desk was nice. Plus I got two bottles of water. Location wise, right across the road from my work. Perfect and there was a walkway over the road. Perfect. Great hotel!
I enjoyed my stay here. Room was cleaned daily to expectations. Fitness center has basic equipment, but worked well. Convenience store is downstairs. Front desk people are helpful. Lobby bar has typical hotel prices.
I was there for a one day conference so I didn't stay in a room. The valet service did well considering the huge volume when the conference ended. The meeting rooms and chairs were comfortable. The food was pretty average but expectations shouldn't be very high for food at a conference. Overall it was a good conference experience.
The lobby and the building is under construction so there is a little bit of cosmetic issues at the moment, however it has not impacted the quality of services or hospitality of the staff. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with all amenities that can be expected. The coffee is awesome! Breakfast at Trofi is delicious and gets you prepped for the day.
Pros: Service is 5.5 stars. The crew that runs the breakfast service in the restaurant provides attentive and thoughtful service. Rooms were comfortable and roomy. Cons: Undergoing lobby construction. Dinner was disappointing. However, I was texted to ask how my stay was going. When I told them about the dinner, they gave me two days of hot breakfast on the house.
There are a ton of review on TripAdvisor that trash this place. I don't agree. The reviews are right with the fact that the property is tired. It's a nice early 90's property that hasn't been updated since. The chair in my room had seen better days. The TV was very basic and tired. But, the beds were comfortable, the property is clean, and the staff is very attentive and friendly (note - didn't use the valet, so I have no opinion on their level of service....there are negative reviews about their attentiveness). It's far from the best hotel I've stayed in, but it's not as bad as others have said.
Stayed here a couple weekends ago for the first time. Everything was great! We booked at a higher price online but when we got to the front desk on the day of check in the price ended up being a lot lower! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had awesome views of the skyline! Will come back for sure!
Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and quiet atmosphere. Staff does a good job taking care of all of your needs. The room I was in was relatibely small, but was enough for what I needed. A few years ago when I stayed here you could park for free on the street on weekends. The city apparently got rid of the street parking nearby so this time I had to pay for valet parking, which was not cheap. Wish the city had not gotten rid of the street parking areas
We were allowed early check in, which was a huge help to us. Adam, at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. When he noticed my husband is 6'6", he offered him 2 of the cookies. Our room was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was superb. We used the free shuttle to the symphony and took the drivers, Peter, advice on our dinner which was also wonderful. I would recommend this location to anyone, and will return.
