China Cottage

I was running some errands with my daughter today and found the China Cottage Restaurant. I was buying other food around the area but the pictures on the window were calling for me! The location is easy to find and there was plenty of parking in the front. I ordered some of my favorite dishes to see if this is a restaurant I want to visit again. I ordered Cheese Puffs (5 per order) and Soft Shrimp Rolls (2 per order). The restaurant was very clean and my daughter was attracted to the cute Chinese Waving Hand and a cute little fish tank. I waited patiently for my order and well the wait got a little longer than expected. Luckily, my daughter was entertained but I sat there for a little while for only two small orders. I give this location a 4 due to the wait time. I saw others that came by and picked up their orders and maybe if I order in advance my experience would have been different. I do have to say that the staff was very friendly and a nice waitress gave my daughter a fortune cookie while we waited. As for the food, the Cheese Puffs were very tasty and fresh I like to think that wait had something to do with it! As for the spring rolls well they were ok but not my favorite. The peanut sauce was a bit too sweet and the spring roll fell apart a bit. I love spring rolls and I am just being a hard critic. Despite that, I do recommend this restaurant as the cheese puffs were great and maybe other dishes are as delicious!

I just stopped here for lunch and got it to go. I was indecisive on what I had wanted to eat and the lady helped me decide and patiently waited and told me to take my time. She was super helpful and sweet! She told me about different spices to help me choose. I ended up getting the general tso chicken and rice they didn't have sweet tea so I got a Sunkist in a can. The food was ready by the time I went to the restroom and washed my hands and it was extremely hot! I mixed the white rice with my chicken and my fork was half melted! It tasted amazing and I'm so thankful she helped me make the right choice! I'd recommend this place for sure!! My total was 15 but then I tipped her for being super helpful too!

I have to be honest I don’t write reviews but I feel like I had to! This place was really good. The flavor was so rich and juicy that I didn’t even had to add anything else like soy sauce or siracha. It was honestly hands down top favorite restaurants!

Pickup always ready on time, food is great for standard Chinese food. The chicken is flavorful and the people are very friendly. I usually get at least 2 meals out of the generous serving size.

Food was hot,fresh,and quick.Highly recommend lunch specials.Fried wings were flush 🔥.I will be a loyal customer....!!!!!
