Best kolache in town especially the Brisket!!! This store has drive through and lots of parking as well to pop down and purchase. Very popular and crowded.
Nice place for a quick breakfast & coffee bite, loved the Kielbasa Jalapeño Kolache, unfortunately didn’t really care much for their coffees, wasn’t up to my taste of preference. Fair prices and they have a drive thru, will definitely come back to try other items!
My wife introduced me to the Kolache Shoppe and now I really love it. We have tried some varieties including cinnamon rolls and brisket, and most recently, seasonal Frito Pie. We love everything here and especially the nice fluffy dough. This location has a drive-thru and a couple small outside tables but not really any indoor seating. Good selection of coffees. Since I haven't actually been here yet I want to go soon.
Kolaches are a Houston staple and must eat when visiting. This shop is super cute, well staffed with friendly folks to help direct lost travelers and warm up online orders. There are options of sweet or savory Kolaches. On this trip we tried the Beef Rendang with Jalapeños and it was amazing, the dough is light and fluffy, the filling is full of flavor, what a fun way to start the day. Their coffee is delicious too. There is no seating inside but a few on the patio.
Best kolaches in town. Highly recommend the jalapeño eggs sausage and cheese. Coffee is also very good.
The best kolaches around. Always a great selection of savory, sweet, simple, gourmet, and seasonal. The coffee is really good too! Staff has always been super friendly to me even when they’re slammed and super busy. We basically live across the street so we are frequent visitors but it’s worth the visit even if you don’t live nearby! I’ve never had something I didn’t like here.
I have been meaning to write a review of this place for quite some time. Sorry it’s taken so long. I love this place. The kolache’s are the best in Houston and are served fresh and warm. I love their coffee (I always get an iced mocha) and find their coffee some of the best in the Heights. What really stands out is the staff. Greg (manager) and his team are all super nice and friendly. They greet you when you walk in the door and are always smiling. Just a FANTASTIC group of employees that along with the great food makes my day.
Good kolaches place with tons of options. They were also quite decently priced. No seating inside so it's kind of a place to go but they did have a bit of seating outside. Overall pretty good, will come back.
PACKED and busy parking lot during the weekends, especially in the morning, but the drive-thru service is thorough and courteous. They have cool, limited-time monthly kolache flavors that make it fun to revisit the shop for. I was most surprised by the deliciousness of the savory kolache offerings actually, particularly the sausage, egg, cheese, and jalapeno kolache. That was well seasoned, fluffy, and flavorful! Would recommend that one for sure!
My third attempt at the bakery for cinnamon bun, was very disappointed when I was told cinnamon wasn't ready when the door opened. However, the young lady was calmed while I was not and gave me 2 complimentary cinnamon roll which I appreciate much. Thank you for the great customer service.
