The price seems right for an authentic hot clay pot style serving. As you wait for your order, help yourself to the delicious Korean "salad" servings. It is pickled and kimchi! Unlimited side servings. The lunch menu was great. Great service and tea is 75 cents. Lunch ranged from rice to noodle bowls served in hot or regular bowls. You can expect to pay anywhere from 8-15 dollars for the lunch menu. Chinatown is full of unique places and this place certainly sets themselves apart.
I had the EEL and one of their spicy hot pots and it was delicious. Although i do feel that the size of the hotpots were small and were priced a bit too high, but what do you expect from a korean restuarant. their "kimchi salad bar" makes your meals worth it since it is unlimited. I only eat the kimchi and the cucumbers. It was my first time there too and its a nice quiet place to eat your food and relax.
I've been here multiple times and while the food is a little overpriced you do get good value in the little salad bar full of pickled vegetables and different kinds of tofu. The kimchi stew has always been flavorful as well as the bulgogi and spicy octopus. I really enjoy this place.
