My go to place for Breakfast tacos. The tacos are stuffed with a good portion of ingredients and are delicious. I highly suggest the potatoes, bacon and eggs tacos. The service from the staff is consistent and when ordering for pick up I have never had an issue. Rio Verde gets really busy in the morning so if you are dining in, expect a wait. For order pick up, I recommend calling and placing your order instead of placing it when you arrive.

Good affordable food and pleasant lively atmosphere. Unlike many popular places it wasn't so loud that it was difficult to think or even hear the waitress. Towards the end of our meal there was live music to entertain the patrons while they eat.

They have great authentic Mexican food. I love eating here. When I don't have time to sit and eat they will have my order ready all the time. I just go pick up and be on my way. Its Family Owned and thy have so friendly. Once you go their a few times and they know you...they will have your food ready. Im so happy to know they've changed the hours! It's good to know that its open by the time I go to lunch!! Yay. Still great food

We have been coming here for the last 20 years. There is no food that compares to this restaurant! A must try restaurant if you are visiting Houston.
I always get the chicken fajita taco salad and it comes with queso dip in a fried tortilla bowl.
We also get the shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas that come with home made flour tortillas.
I would also recommend the breakfast 10/10 🍳🥓
The staff always speaks Spanish first, however they also speak English. The menu is in Spanish and in English.
They also do take out orders if you call ahead!

It's a decent good place, tacos are great, enchiladas, Breakfast is awesome but the male server he doesn't like he's job. He's rude he doesn't greet , smile, say thank you!
