Food is always fresh and yummy! Give sense of healthy eating. Prices aren't cheap but reasonable for quality of the food. Definite hangout spot!

Excellent location to spend a few hours in-between classes on campus. Staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and rarely do I ever have complaints about them. Sometimes there will be issues, but I have never had an experience ruined.
The food is decently-priced but can be expensive, but McAlister's is expensive across its locations. I have never had any issues with the taste or quality of the food as I've always been satisfied by portion sizes and freshness. One complaint I can have is that the bread can be toasted differently every time I come in. I usually get the BLT+A, and one day I will get crunchy, over-toasted bread, and the next flimsy, under-toasted bread. I guess it depends on who's preparing my order in the back.
I also do not like how this location does not allow you to order online from the McAlister's app, but will let you use coupons from it. I find it easier to redeem offers and rewards on the app.

Location is great, especially for students. Parking isn’t far at all and they have a great menu. Wait for food was a bit longer than hoped, not bad though. Staff were somewhere between super nice and apathetic. Likely College students working a part time job. The food wasn’t anything to write home about but it satisfied a hunger craving for sure.
It’s like Panera Bread with a few more options I guess! The food is pretty tasty and feels good to eat, especially on a rainy day and the service is good!

Really convenient place on campus. Campus food is usually not good, but this is one of the best places on campus. The sweet tea is really good and the people who work here are nice and helpful. The Mac and cheese is so good too! Also love the brownies.
Clean with granite table top. Plenty of space comparing to other venues on campus. The staff is friendly and the orders are filled quickly. The portion is decently sized. Make sure to try the sweet tea.
McAlister's is great! As a UH student, I love that they accept cougar cash. There's so much to choose off their menu, that it's hard to decide what you want to order. Their chocolate chip cookies are delicious and their chicken salad croissant sandwich is a definite must try. The one downside is that if you order to go, you might be waiting a bit, but other than that, this is a great food stop 👍
Varied menu allows for a splurge or adherence to your healthy food plan. Prices are reasonable and there is outside seating for those rare tolerable days in Houston. Situated on the campus of University of Houston, access is limited to walking, though a large parking garage is part of the complex. The Savannah chopped salad is my current go-to, though all the dishes I saw on the tables of other diners looked delicious.
The beginning was at first a question for the representative answering the call immediately got frustrated and immediately JUST put the call on hold and pass it over .I am a UBER eats delivery driver and new to the Houston area and was not able to locate the place, however the manager Jose went out his way to bring the order and guide me through while on the phone. That j have never encountered and very GRATEFUL for. Upon another pick up he offered and complementary cookie and thank him so mich for his services despite no matter how others did not to aid and assist👍👍🍔
Very friendly staff. The food is always good.
During the fall and spring semester, this place can get packed. Can not go wrong with what is selected on the menu, it’s always good.
