The Houston Zoo is fabulous. Parking can be very difficult. If possible, buy your tickets ahead of time, as the ticket booth is a very slow process. The woman in front of us was buying a membership and she had a handful of coupons. We waited 10 minutes just for her. Beautifully kept, immaculate grounds. Very funny stall doors in the ladies room. The animals are quiet during the heat of the day, but they are visible while resting. The giraffe feeding is a must do.

Quick restaurant with a lot of food options. It's also good for people with food restrictions. They have gluten free pizza and hamburger buns. The staff is also very nice.

This lady help my grandfather whose in a wheelchair wanna come back tommorow. He wrote her name down😂😂😂😂 Athera l told him he had to spell it wrong. I'm happy he enjoyed himself because he neverrrrrr leaves home.

We ate lunch at this Cafe when my son had his feild trip here a couple weeks ago. I ordered a flat bread pizza and I waited about 20 minutes for it, then saw the lady beside me receive hers before I did (I was first in line) it wasn't that big of deal to me, I just wanted to let them know that I was still waiting and the manager apologized a few times and was very nice, refunded my money, and brought out my food immidiately. I wasn't expecting all of that, but I was very pleased with my experience here. She was professional and kind. I just wish I could remember her name. Lol
WeWwill definitely be back when we come back to the Zoo.

Lovely healthy salads, and gluten free pizza on offer. Good coffee. Unusually it was a cold day, and this was a lovely place to warm up. They were really helpful about substituting foods too.
