This Taqueria Laredo has solid quality breakfast tacos and reasonable prices. There was nothing that was incredibly memorable but it was some above average. The sausage and egg taco was the best and most flavorful. The chorizo was dry and for sure not the greasy hangover cure if that is what you are looking for. The red pork had a good flavor and the meat was tender. Tortillas we good but not as awesome as some other places. Overall worth a visit, but not a long trip to get there.
The staff is super friendly and the music that plays has me reminiscing of my abuela’s kitchen. The delicious smell of fresh tortillas and the different dishes she would cook. The music may not be to everyone taste but the food will definitely getting into the groove and enjoying a moment of happiness.
Delicious! Kind of a hole in the wall spot. Stumbled upon it during road trip. The barbacoa is flavorful and it reminds of the first time I had it homemade with family friends and that happened to be in Laredo. This taco has a lovely smear of beans and then the tender meat inside a tasty tortilla that tastes homemade. It's unlike the street tacos I'm used to in Dallas where they use cilantro, onions and lime. I also had the pollo/chicken taco which has sauteed bell peppers and onions-great flavor. The green salsa is the right kind of spicy-hot enough to make your eyes water but still enjoyable. Enjoyed lunch and highly recommend. Can't beat for really yummy $3 tacos. Didn't capture enough photos before chowing down. Give it a try! Cheers!
