I’ve had a catering order placed and chef Nga was sooo helpful. She actually came early in the morning just to make the croissants and eclairs fresh and have them ready by 7AM!!! Honestly I’ve never had such light and crisp eclairs anywhere in Houston, and I have tried every place you can imagine since I love french pastries. You should definitely go ahead and give it a try!

I had the fig tart based upon the recommendation of the owner . It was such a work of art I almost felt guilty eating it ( almost ). It was delicious . Although I live in Montrose , it was well worth the trip .

My daughter was having her 14th birthday and her favorite is chocolate mousse cake. I'm tired of chocolate bar mousse cake so I started researching for best mousse cake in Houston and this place among others came up. I started reading yelp reviews and they are all very good comments. So I decided to try it and order the Passionata cake which is chocolate mousse with raspberry compote and creme brulee. I ordered it for Sunday morning but I was so excited to see this bakery for myself so I went and paid for my cake in person on Saturday. They didn't have much in there but I decided to order 4 buttered croissants, 2 almond croissants just to try at home. While I was waiting on my daughter, I ordered another buttered croissant and an espresso and I was,so impressed with the croissants. The best I've had here in Houston. So buttery, and so soft. After that first impression, I bought one of each of what they have and was impressed with all of them. The champagne mousse cake, chocolate mousse, pistachio eclair, chocolate eclair, pain de chocolat, almond cheese croissants, a few of the macaroons. Nothing bad here. Of course the next day was cake day, It was very decadent. The mix of raspberry, creme brulee, and chocolate mousse was just perfect. Not too sweet nor too tarty. But a perfectly coordinated symphony of tastes. I found my bakery.. nothing bad to say about this place.

Toute la saveur de notre pays d'origine. La patronne à le sens du contact, et ses pâtisseries sont une tuerie. Je recommande fortement cette pâtisserie familial aux saveurs hautement Française

I love this patisserie. Chef is so creative and a true artist. She made a cake for my son's birthday on very short notice, was her own creativity and was super delicious. You just have to tell her what do you want, and she will give you something awesome.

They are AWESOME!! Great pastries and they are so mouth watering! My fiancé and I just walked in there for 5 minutes and fell in love with the food and the owners! We ordered 3 dozens Eclairs for our engagement party and are now thinking about ordering more items for our wedding. You can tell that Nga, the pastry chef, is proud of her work and she should be because everything looks great and tastes even better!

The flavors of pastries are outstanding. We also picked up a cake for a dinner party last night and it was so unique that it was all the rave.

Amazing small business! I’ve been looking for an authentic French bakery for a long time in Houston, and Patisserie takes the cake! (Get it?) All of their desserts (croissant, mousse cakes, etc) used traditional French techniques and were exquisite. The large variety of flaky pastries had great lamination/flakiness in the croissants, koign-Amman (which was on the house because the worker was excited for me to try it), and raisin spiral I had. Just make sure to keep those kinds of pastries in open air to prevent them from becoming unflaky. The raisin spiral was not too sweet and had a great flaky texture, the orange koign Amani had a subtle, delectable note of orange in the buttery pastry, and the raspberry chocolate mousse cake was airy and smooth. The workers were nice and informative, and the baker actually came from a France where she got her degree at a renowned pastry school. I would come back again and try everything.

Visited this place early afternoon on Saturday (the day before Valentine's Day) and unfortunately there wasn't much selection, so we got some croissants and a tart. They were beautiful and delicious. We definitely will go back.

Every bite is a dream ,the macaroon are so creamy and rich in flavor. I came for half a dozen and ended up getting a dozen, their cappuccino perfectly smooth and fluffy how I like it. The owner ,she is very sweet and attentive to any question you have.

Some of the finest croissants, French baked desserts, and imaginative macarons you can get in Houston. The owner/baker was trained in Paris and speaks with a slight French accent. She's a bit harsh and tries to overcorrect mispronunciations etc, but that real star here is her story, skill and desserts. I would love to order her custom cakes. Mango mousse was fresh, tart, & had that wow factor. Croissants were delicate and crispy. Thousand Leaf was layered to perfection. We also had various macarons which very subtle and light flavors like parmesan, fruits, etc. We were gluttons and thoroughly enjoyed everything.

She had me at "Oui Oui"... Called all over town for a specialty cake for a very special person. This was the only bakery in town I could find could do it, let alone knew what I was talking about. So happy with the results. My goto bakery from now on.

Very helpful, and extremely delicious. The pastries are not cheap but the price is very reasonable for the premiere quality. The care they take is evident in the quality of the product. Call ahead for large orders, but just drop in if you just need an eclair or a macaron to brighten your day.

For anyone looking at this place wondering if they should give it a shot, don't hesitate! I've been twice with a friend and each time bought several pastries between us including croissants, macarons, and other pastries/ desserts, probably 10-12 between us all told (it's not a short drive for us, so we try to make the trip count). Every single item was delicious. Really truly the best French patisserie experience you'll get in Houston. Nothing against "regular" dessert/ pastry shops, I enjoy them too, but if you know, you know. Personally, I haven't found anything too rich, but I know these items are meant to be satisfying in and of themselves in perhaps a smaller portion than people are used to, unlike a lot of other desserts where the portion is large, flavours are muted, or mainly sweet without much complexity. Also, considering the flavours, skill, and how satisfying each item is, I believe everything is more than fairly priced. You're not coming to a place like this for a slice of grocery store cake or a 6-pack of mass produced croissants, remember that.

Excellent fresh French desserts. I have had the pleasure of trying many different desserts & wow!! Each one seems to be better than the last one. They bake fresh every morning & the price is worth it. If you love French desserts, this place will rock your world.

I had the pleasure of tasting a Mont Blanc dessert at a friend’s dinner party, and it was so unique and delicious, the memory of it haunted me for weeks. I finally Googled “Mont Blanc dessert near me,” and, right under the Montblanc luxury pen store in The Galleria mall was Patisserie Paris Je T’aime. A quaint, walk-up pastry shop, the ambiance is lackluster, but who cares, when all you’re doing is picking up authentic French pastries that are seemingly impossible to find elsewhere? I certainly didn’t. I wanted to pick up beautiful desserts for a special dinner party, so I cleaned them out of their individual Mont Blancs. Note: I called in this morning to order them in advance, and I highly recommend you do this. These beauties are gorgeous! Bonus: as I am obsessed with Dominique Ansel’s NYC Cronuts, I had been wanting to try the other pastry he’s known for… the Kouign Amman. He describes it as a dense, buttery cake of many layers, which basically sounds like the epitome of pastry perfection. Without any plans to visit my favorite city in the near future, trying that unicorn of pastries seemed like a distant dream. Until today. While Chef Nga was putting the finishing touches on my Mont Blancs, my eyes perused the lovely offerings in the case and landed on the small paper sign that read, “Kouign Amman.” WHAT. I contained my excitement and coolly asked the man behind the counter to add one of those to my order. As soon as I go got home, I took a bite of that special treat. It was DIVINE! What a euphoric experience. Dense… check. Buttery… check. Addictive… you bet. No wonder Chef Ansel eats this for breakfast every morning. So glad I stumbled upon this gem of a patisserie. I look forward to many more magical moments with their very special offerings. Je les aime! And no, I do not have a pic of the Kouign Amman… all I could think about was eating it 😜

This place was very yummy! They had a simple selection. Everything we selected was flavorful! The gentleman explained they reduced a lot of the sugar in the recipes, which is good. In addition, the owner and chef was there and showed us some of the ingredients that go into her pastries. Price point works because as an American I was about to order everything on the menu, but one dessert was plenty!

Made a stop for my birthday with my husband. He got the Praline dessert, and I the lychee raspberry, and a couple macarons (Orange blossom ginger, Strawberry Jasmine, and I think Vanilla hazelnut?) We loved our desserts. Mine was light yet sweet and tangy from the raspberry. Very refreshing. The orange blossom ginger macaron was also light yet with a subtle spice from the ginger. Both very beautiful and enjoyable. The strawberry jasmine was just awesome. A good strawberry flavor paired beautifully with jasmine. Husband’s dessert he said was very good, but very rich. Overall if we are ever around the area again we’d definitely make another stop!

We purchased several pastries (eclairs, pain au chocolat, croissants) as well as a frasier cake for my wife's birthday, and all were excellent. The owner/chef is also very friendly and was a pleasure to work with on the cake.

This place knows more than exactly what they're doing with their desserts. The macarons are delicious! The yuzu cake/tart is also amazing. The flavors are blended so well and so rich in flavor, yet not too rich in dessert. Hard to explain, but it's the perfect sweetness and the ingredients taste like quality. A little pricey but completely worth it!

I was looking for a cake for my mother's 80th birthday. My mother has complicated symptoms with food due to Shogren's syndrome and diverticulitis. She can't have seeds or nuts. These guys made a cake in one day. Chocolate Ganache, Raspberry sauce no seeds, no almond flour, and creme brulee. It was not only the best cake I've ever had it was so beautiful you felt bad cutting into it. She made us a piece of art. Everyone there said it was the best cake they'd ever had. I can not recommend Patisserie Paris Je T'aime enough. Seriously this is a hidden gem in the Energy Corridor. Also the cake was incredibly reasonable in price. We also sampled the torts and croissants and I'll be damned if they weren't insanely good. If you're looking to impress on a budget and get the best damned cake of your life, this is the spot. Give it some love H-Town.

We read some review on google and since it's just down the street from us, decided to try it out. What luck! They baked us some almond croissants that were heavenly, with buttery almond cream oozing, while light and airy. We also tried a custard raison roll, again, excellent. Great coffee too. Wanted to save this gem for ourselves, but too good to not share. Kudos to the chef and staff!
