I went there for lunch. The salad bar was unbeatable, with a great variety of options, cheese, and vegetables. They gave you two options: salad bar + 7 kinds of meat or salad bar + meats and seafood. I went for the first option.
The service was great. You were given a card with a green side and a red side. If you turned the green side up, that meant you want more meat. If you turned the red side up, that meant you don’t want any more. The waiter kept bringing me different kinds of meat, so much that I had to flip the card to stop them. The experience was great.
The most important part: the meat. I tried a variety of meat. Taste-wise it was awesome, but the texture was a bit disappointing. Generally speaking, all the meat was tough to chew. I wish they could make it more tender.
My recent visit to the Brazilian steakhouse was a complete turnaround. Initially, I had a 2/5 rating due to issues with dry meat, slow service, and high gratuity. However, after my review, the restaurant reached out and assured me they are committed to improvement.
Today, I returned and experienced the high-quality service and meat they promise. Special thanks to Mr. Rafael, the manager at Turao, who made sure I had a fantastic dining experience. This visit has restored my faith in their commitment to excellence. Despite the initial hiccups, I now feel positive about giving this restaurant another chance. My craving for Pina colada was indeed satisfied, and I appreciate their dedication to making things better. 😄👍
Excellent food! All meats were wonderfully done. They serve off the 'skewer' and slice it at your table. The external more well-done meats as well as the inner rarer ones were great. The lamb was good too, but beef was better by far. Definitely worth a try.
Therebwerebwide salads and cheese choices too; got some of the best cheeses too.
Of course it's a bit expensive but not as much as some other high end restaurants of the same type.

We’ve been here multiple times for years now and haven’t stopped. We love this place. The food, the atmosphere and the staff - everything is great. We used to come frequently but now with a small child we limit our visits to special events or date night regardless they never disappoint us.
Very fun atmosphere! Everyone was working hard and constantly checking in with us to see if there was anything they could get us. As hard as it is, save room for dessert!
Celebrated my husbands birthday here. Had a wonderful experience. Reservations are mandatory! DONT BE LaTE ⏰! The restaurant is quite busy so they run a tight schedule on turning over tables.. expect Valet 🅿️ . The food is good, beef ribs were delicious and plenty to choose from. The advantage of the smaller restaurant is that they come around pretty often so pace yourself on trying different cuts of meat. Try the garlic beef, has a delicious crust🥩. The staff was very friendly (the manager helped us take a picture) and they checked on us often. The salad bar was just ok nothing crazy.. they had a live singer and it was quite nice of them to sing 🎶 happy birthday 🎂 for my husband!
If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. The servers are amazing. The live music performance and atmosphere is soothing and relaxing. Rafael is such a great person and help in anyway he can. The food tastes so fresh and authentic. It was fulfilling. We enjoyed every bit of it.

I went on a Saturday night while visiting Houston and the ambiance was amazing, there was live music. The singer and the pianist did such a beautiful work. There were several People celebrating their birthdays and they sang Happy Birthday song to each of them. It was a very warm-familiar atmosphere. The food was GREAT, the service was even better! I want to go again before my stay in Houston is over.
Came here on a Saturday to celebrate my friends birthday and it was packed, Good thing we made reservations! There was live music which was so enjoyable, the musicians were great. The place is small but there is still plenty of seating. The atmosphere feels so enjoyable and the service is amazing and everyone is so attentive. The food is delicious with so many options, and the meat OH MY GOODNESS!!! Thea meat was full of flavors, so many to choose from. Overall the experience was phenomenal and will be back soon.
