If only we had a Pappas BBQ in north Dallas! We have some good BBQ around but this is as good if not better. Even more their tamales are absolutely outstanding!!! I highly recommend this location and will hope for north Dallas another Pappas BBQ...
Oh my had the pulled pork and it was so good only been to this place one time about 3 year's ago I would go to Rudy's BBQ but after eating here Rudy's can't touch it I highly recommend that you go
Sunday-all you can eat pork ribs. You can taste the smoke in the ribs. In my book that gets it a 3 rating. The meat is great. Now for the rest. The other reviews aren't wrong. It's hard to imagine anyone getting excited by the sauce and for Texas it is downright embarrassing. Everyone has their own preferences for sides but I dislike the potato salad and the coleslaw and macaroni salad barely rate a mention. There's lots of choices out there. This isn't mine - time to check out Spring Creek again or any of a number of non-chain places. Quality over quantity every time and there is more to the BBQ experience than just the meat.
The very best smoked/BBQ'd turkey sandwich (or otherwise) in town! Generous portion, never dried out like other places. Really quite excellent.
On a Sunday evening, we ordered a Party Pack that is meant to serve 2-3 persons. It filled up 3 men easily. The sides of potato salad, coleslaw and dirty rice were perfect complement with the brisket, pulled pork and sausage links. I will admit that the original BBQ sauce is too smokey. I did not care for it all. Service was very pleasant. I will forgo Gabby's now for Pappas BBQ. Don't forget to get the free self served ice cream as a treat!
As a visitor to texas i would say this was good bbq. the meat was really tendor and had a great taste. the sauce had a lot to be desired but thankfully you did not need it. i think this gives out-of-towners a taste of Texas bbq without have to spend a ton of money to get it.
This is hands down best meal I’ve had in weeks while traveling around the us. This meal was absolutely incredible and it was the first time in Texas that I’ve received amazing customer service, guy taking my order answered my questions and made suggestions. Food is absolutely incredible and will make it back a few times before I leave. And it’s super reasonably priced for the amount and quality of this food. Thank youuuu!
Our family has tried literally every BBQ place within 200 miles of here. My kids always ask if we can go back to Papas. WE ❤️❤️ it. We all like the sliced brisket extra lean. Today for the first time, I tried a pulled pork sandwich and it was only $8.95. My husband likes the sliced brisket sandwich covered in barbecue sauce. One kid likes sliced brisket with a side of macaroni and cheese and a side of beans. My other kid, the picky kid, likes the barbecue chicken and brisket plate. Everyone leaves happy and full. I we have never had to wait in line more than one minute. Order at the counter and when it’s ready, they will bring it out to you, but usually no more than a few minutes. My only complaint is that the sodas are very expensive. You could literally add another $20 onto your bill if everyone gets a drink. They have a table for help yourself, barbecue sauce, pickles, onions, peppers to add to the sandwiches. They also have spicy hot mustard in addition to the barbecue sauce. In the past I have gotten wings and ribs. Everything is tasty. People are extremely friendly. I am shocked when I read these reviews… I have never had a bad experience here, never had a bad meal here. I have never had anyone be anything but nice at all times. Sometimes I wonder if people’s expectations for these types of restaurants are too high. These people work really hard and we’ve always had a great experience! It’s on our monthly rotation of restaurants. They have a drive through also. These people stayed OPEN during the entire pandemic, serving customers with a smile. It’s hard to understand why people are so harsh sometimes. This place is VERY DELICIOUS 😋
The barbecue is decent for a chain, But the hamburger is ridiculously good. Huge, well seasoned meat with a good sear. Very soft slightly sweet bun, fresh cold veggies. Excellent fries as well.
My friends and I came to your restaurant and I had a loaded baked potato with pulled pork. The food was very good, but Real Butter would have been the icing on the top!! I love real butter!! Margarine is just not good!! Please start only using real butter!!! 😕👩🍳😔😔
The staff was really good and were nice. The catfish sandwich was very over salted and my son did not like it very much. We told them it was too salty and they gave a brisket sandwich for free.
Overall I think it was fine but the food was very salty.

I visited the location in Conroe Texas which is in a strip shopping center across from The Woodlands Mall. I wanted some BBQ 🍖 but on the light side since Thanksgiving was yesterday. I choose the chef salad 🥗 which comes with sausage, ham and brisket. The salad was large and fresh and the meat 🥩 was well seasoned. The staff was friendly and they do have a fairly large dining room for eating in. We choose takeout . I would go back.
Really loved the family platter-- the pulled pork and brisket were really good, but best part was the barbecue sauce here!! It made everything even more delicious! Really good potato salad and coslaw as well and cute ambience!
Huge Pappas fans! Could be a little more heavy handed when they season the fries and add some more brisket to the baked potatoes but I love it overall 😋
They have the best cucumber salad! Everything in there is yummy and priced well. Service is good as well… but we’ve only gone drive through so not much interaction. Folks have been nice out there overall.
I especially recommend their loaded spuds and Mac and cheese. My spouse would say their chopped brisket is the best, I think they're one of few places that does turkey correctly though
