I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hotdog Shop on Brittmoore in Houston, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
First and foremost, the food was outstanding. The hotdogs were not your ordinary fare; they were bursting with flavor and creativity. From classic favorites to inventive combinations, the menu had something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed their specialty hotdog with unique toppings that added a delightful twist to a classic comfort food. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and every bite was a delightful journey for my taste buds.
Equally impressive was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They offered recommendations and accommodated special requests with a smile, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. It’s clear that they take pride in ensuring their customers have a memorable visit.
I don’t know where they found the color they have…. But they should give them a raise!!! Man when I tell you everything is good! I had the polish and the philly dog, my wife had the cheeseburger, and she took it to work, all her coworkers were asking where she got the burger from, just in presentation alone!
Definitely recommend for lunch or even a hangout after work. They have pool tables and a bar!!
The Hot Dog Shop is one of my favorite hidden gems. Definitely work the trip for simple or fully dressed hot dogs just the way you want. They also have a complete menu of other Traditional American food choices such as hamburgers, and even have a breakfast menu.
Paired up with a bar in the back, I could imagine this would be a great after work chill spot, (although I've only gone here during lunch hours).
OH LORD! JUST VISIT THIS PLACE ALREADY!! The prices and food are the best! The menu is massive! I can't wait to visit and everything. For now two simple dawgs.

This is place makes great food. I frequent the place for my breakfast burrito that is really a good size and tasty! Hamburgers too are delicious here.
Only negative item here is the smell of cigarettes smoke from the bar that they have.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 Stars! The service is incredible! The staff is super friendly, fast and attentive!
Really enjoyed my chili cheese fries and fried catfish PO boy! Will definitely come back again for the hot dogs!
If you're looking for a cool dive bar to hang out at, this place is it. I came here for karaoke on a Thursday night, which was kind of dead, but still alright nonetheless. I got their classic hot dog. Personally, I don't think their hotdog is worth 3+ bucks, but it had a nice snap to its casing, so that's something different you don't get too often. This spot is a bit smokey, so be ready for that. Otherwise, I plan to be back for karaoke night, maybe on a Saturday.
Had the fish poboy it was good, love the multiple flavor soda machine. You have to get past the old building smell first when first come in. The bar inside it a plus but you have to deal with the smoking. Overall great experience.
Now this is a great place. Came here on a whim but hey, don’t let the looks deceive you from the outside it’s all what’s on the inside! Food is 🤌🏽
