I have nothing but respect for this establishment. I've never seen anybody else inside the loop cutting off a patron for being too inebriated except for here. Perfect service from all the employees. Legit toppings on pizzas as far as a vegetarian would go. Decent prices, good crowd.

Great staff, friendly patrons. I used to go after work 2-4 times a week to have a drink before heading home. The pizza is also relatively good as far as bar food goes.

Great dive bar. Darts, pool, Golden tee. Cheap strong drinks. Limited menu but food is solid. I always love hanging out here.

Despite the complaints of certain high maintenance types, this is a pretty outstanding dive bar. Purple walls, room for Darts and pool tables. Just order a lonestar and bask in the glory of the Melvin.
The entire staff here is great and will make you feel safe and like family. The food is cheap and really really good especially the custom pizzas!
