When you walk in you’re seated immediately. Honestly been here a couple times and never gave a review but I think after the handful of experiences I can give a honest review. The best time to come is lunch rush. Dinner really isn’t worth it seeing that some the food truthfully is mediocre and not that much food options besides sushi. The sushi is not the greatest. Some the sushi wasn’t cut right and the spring rolls are ALWAYS disgusting and soggy. The restroom is always clean though which is great. The chicken is great. Honestly it’s worth the $9.99 lunch special
The food was delicious and fresh. The price was reasonable for the amount of seafood. The building was hot and the napkins were so thin and tiny. The server was nice. The seafood tasted great. The dessert was sufficient. The soups were good too.
This was my the Husband and I second time eating at this restaurant. I decided not to edit my last google review but to give another great review because this was another great 😌 visit to V Star 💫 this afternoon. The food 🥘 was great 😊 and hot 🥵. There are so many buffets to choose from including a sushi 🍱 bar, salad🥗 bar, soup 🍜 , fruits 🍉, etc. i always enjoy the salad bar with fresh prepped pico de gallo. The hostess was cordial and my server MARIA was outstanding. She was so friendly, prompt, and courteous with her conversation. The kept our table clear of plates and our drinks 🍹 filled. Gracias ☺️ Doña Maria. If you’re ever in the Hobby airport area and hungry stop by V Star on 45 S at Belfort. Ask for Maria on Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday , she’ll give awesome 🤩 customer service and with the awesome 🤩 food 🍱 you can’t be disappointed. Delicious Food! The Service/Waiter Didn't Came Around For Refills Much But Good Atmosphere.. Many Options Of Food And Desserts Also Sushi 🍣... Would Go Back!
Nice place. Sometimes hard to get assistance with wait staff. So many people always there, u have to always wait for the items you like (if you want crawfish 😉)
Now if you like great Chinese food. It's a little more expensive than the other places but you will love the food great selection.
Best Chinese Buffet I've been to. We stopped her on Christmas night. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. The waitress was very nice; she brought our drinks quickly. The food was fresh and there was plenty; however, there was a shortage of crawfish of course. But the restaurant had an organized system to allow everyone a share of those mudbugs lol. The restaurants ambience is really nice. My daughter loves the lights. It was also decorated for Christmas and they played the best Christmas classic songs, how nice. Now that we have discovered this location we won't go to any other. The only thing is I wish they would clean the floors a bit more often but I do understand that with customers, especially kids, surving themselves food and napkins will constantly fall to the floors. As you can see in the pics majority of the floors were clean. Overall, best location! Better and much cleaner than China Star.
Good place to go when you want a buffet, buffets are not the best food but this place is a good one.
This the best seafood buffet I have been to so far. It has everything, sushi all kinds, I didn't see crab legs though at least not steamed , they had small fried and lots of crayfish, pan after pan it was a decent price $15
