This was my first time here. The gentleman that took my order was so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend on that alone. He was very patient with me and even made recommendations based on what I was looking for. I ended up getting the mini egg rolls and the combination pho with brisket and the beef meatballs it was very delicious and everything came out hot and fresh! I will definitely be back and the prices where very reasonable as well!

We got the Thai Surprise (b. Garlic, chiles, Thai basil, lemongrass) crawfish. I almost bit my fingers off, that sauce was SO good. The H Town Bang sauce of the shrimp fried rice was nice with the pieces of sausage in it. The brisket pho was amazing. Balance of smoked meat flavor in the brisket pieces without overpowering the broth. And the temperature of the pho was piping hot to the last scoop.

Came here for dinner and was not disappointed ! Their egg rolls came out hot and fresh and were little bites of joy. I ordered the crawfish and really enjoyed their flavor options. If you are a spice lover this place will not disappoint. My husband ordered a burger and their fried rice and enjoyed them both but had to take most of the rice hime because it was a lot of food! This place doesn't do skimpy portions. They also are participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks so if you're looking for a place to try with some great food I'd recommend this place!

We loved it! The food was great. We had the exxxtremly spicy dumplings and the fried dumplings as an appetizer. Both were delicious and full of flavor! We ordered crawfish in various flavors for our main meal. I had the Saigon house seasoning in medium. It’s a little on the sweeter side as you’d expect with an Asian fusion restaurant. The Food came out fast. Bathrooms were clean and they had some really comfy chairs to sit in. The only negative thing (if you could even call it negative) is that you have to order everything at the bar which is fine considering they are short staffed. It wouldn’t stop me from coming here again. They had two servers working and they were both incredibly sweet, attentive and informative. Not to mention the music selection was ON POINT! Would definitely come back!

Rating : ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The ONLY reason they aren’t getting 5 stars was due to the restroom. It was rather messy and not clean. Other than that the food was simply fantastic . I got 3 lbs crawfish extra spicy and WHEW 🥵 IT KNOCKED MY SOCKS 🧦 OFF 😂🥹. My husband had soft shell fried rice he enjoyed the rice not the crab but he’s picky . My kids also enjoyed their food !!! Thanks for the referral ! I love this group and all the great reviews . #saigonhouse #crawfishhouston

What stood out to me about Saigon House was how modern the interior is and how friendly the staff and owner are! We came on a Saturday night and it was packed cause of private parties - we sat out on the patio and had drinks while we waited. They couldn't serve us food outside cause of health codes or something but the wait wasn't so bad when it was comfortable! We waited about 30-45 minutes and ended up finally getting a table (I know, crawfish takes forever to eat). We ordered crawfish, so many different flavors to choose from! The H Town Bang, the Thai Surprise, the Saigon Heat, the Third Coast Sand and the double D (a mixture of H Town Bang and Saigon Heat - off menu) in 3 different spice levels (sissy unicorn, fiery Phoenix, and angry dragon). I think we ended up trying almost all the flavors. The crawfish were a decent size, some larger and some smaller - though I haven't seen large large crawfish this season anywhere yet. I thought the flavors were good, some on the sweeter side. We did the double D in the fiery Phoenix for both crawfish and shrimp but I thought the Thai Surprise was way better! The shrimp was large and cooked perfectly cause the shell came off easily; I've had them at too many places where they are over cooked and hard to peel! We even got to add oxtails in the crawfish! Haven't seen that before! Though service isn't quick, they were friendly and food was good. I would definitely come back!

Saigon House is a Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Midtown specializing in pho and Viet-Cajun crawfish. My girlfriend and I checked them out on a Saturday evening. Parking in Midtown is always difficult, so it’s nice they have a private parking lot out back. The lot can be quite full and narrow, so definitely be careful when parking here on a busy night. The restaurant was mostly full when we walked in. Luckily, we were able to be seated at a booth near the front door. As the weather was kind of chilly outside, the front door kept blowing cold air at us whenever it opened up. We had to leave our coats on! We met with our waitress, Stephanie, and we started with a hot pot of Jasmine Green Tea with cut-up ginger. She told us they were out of crawfish for the night and that we wouldn’t be able to try the Banh Xeo Tacos since they were out of pork belly. No worries, we still wanted to order a feast! To start, we went with the Exxxtremely Spicy Dumplings (steamed pork dumplings and death oil ponzu) for $6.99 and the Tiger Ribs (tender pork ribs BBQ’d Asian-style) for $7.99. The dumplings were crazy hot! I can honestly say I have never had dumplings so spicy in my life. Even after eating them, our mouths were on fire, we started to sweat, our noses became runny, and we were no longer cold from sitting near the front door blowing freezing air at us! I would give these a 5/5. The Tiger Ribs were hard to judge at first since our tongues were on fire, but after we got accustomed to them, they were DELICIOUS. The flavors were so tasty and the meat was easily able to fall off the bone. This was also a 5/5. For our entrees, we went with the Wagyu Pho Rice Noodle Soup (grilled buttery wagyu) for $17.99 and the Sizzling Shaken Beef (filet cube, onions, mushroom, and peppers) for $12 plus upgraded side fried rice/fried egg for extra $3. The pho tasted super fresh. The broth was great, and the wagyu beef slices in the pho made it next-level. I wouldn’t typically order a $17.99 bowl of pho on the regular, but this was a nice experience. I’d again give this a 5/5. The Sizzling Shaken Beef, on the other hand, was not good at all. I thought it was because of the meat quality because I literally couldn’t chew through it. They may as well call it beef-flavored chewing gum because I ended up having to spit it out on the side of my plate. I would give this a 2/5. I wish they would change the meat they use for this plate because it seems it tends to get completely overcooked. Overall, I really enjoyed our dinner at Saigon House. Even though we didn’t get to experience the crawfish or the Banh Xeo Tacos yet, they have other incredible items on their menu from the Exxxtremely Spicy Dumplings, the Tiger Ribs, and the Wagyu Pho Rice Noodle Soup. These are all must-haves for sure. I would avoid the Sizzling Shaken Beef until they either change the meat they use for it or learn how to cook it properly because it felt rubbery in my teeth. We will definitely be back to try out more items on the menu!

Fun and great place to go get seafood and Vietnamese food! Ambience : The place was packed when we got here but we were able to get seated within 30 minutes. We must’ve gotten lucky since it’s normally an hour wait. The place is small but feels big with the tall Ceilings and hanging lights. Staff: Staff was friendly and professional. Service was great. We got our appetizer within 5 minutes of sitting down at our table! (You order first then get your table) we got the pho in about another 5 minutes and then the platter in another 5 then the seafood in another 10 so overall Food: We ordered Ox Tail Pho, Banh Mi Fries, Hakeems Dream Platter, JJ Watts Jack Pot. The pho was good, it’s sweet though so beware. I usually like my Pho not as sweet. The OX Tail meat was delicious. Banh Mi Fries were really good. Taste just like...wait for it... a Banh Mi!! The fried platter was good as well. Lightly battered and seasoned. Doesn’t come with tarter sauce. Have to ask for it. Comes with a house sauce, it was a thick version of the Saigon sauce. JJ Watts Jackpot seafood in Saigon Sauce. It was an awesome presentation. Sauce was really good. It was citrus based and sweet. The crawfish and shrimp were big. Crawfish was perfect but shrimps came out over cooked. They kept sticking to their shells. The lobster was an average size. It wasn’t the best lobster I’ve had but it was good. Overall: Great place to visit with friends to share food with. Fun and upbeat atmosphere. Good food and great service. It’s not cheap so prepare your wallet for a beat down. Our total bill came out to be around $130. The bulk of it was JJ Watts Jack Pot. It was $64 for 3lbs crawfish, 2 lbs shrimp and 1 lobster. Comes with 1 sausage, 1 corn and 1 potato. Would recommend to friends.

I'm so happy I found this place! This is definitely my new FAVORITE restaurant! The food was absolutely perfect! Creative, full of flavors, good portions, great service, and fun "chalkboard walls" you can write/draw on. Eager to try everything on the menu as you can see. Best CRAWFISH I've ever had! So full of flavor I didn't even need to make a dipping sauce! Highly recommend!
