I luv hotpot and especially since its Korean style. close to home. fresh kim chee was phenomenal. the fried rice n fish cakes were great to have as you wait for the cooking to get that soup well marinated before you dunk that meat to absorb all that pre flavor workout!

I recommend this hot pot! Everyone has their individual bowl to heat their food. Vegetarian and many options available. They have the best kimchi fried rice. Only limitation is how many people can be seated in general area. It fits only up to 4 people. If you never have had hot pot before, the staff is very observant and will help you throughout the process. They pay great attention to detail and help you to the fullest.

We were here for lunch and we absolutely enjoyed this place. Meat quality is well and I need to recommend their beef broth. Verity of vegetable selections. Atmosphere is homey. The only thing i didn't really enjoy was the sauces, they were all on the sweeter side which I am not a big fan of. P.S, house kimichi was so tasty!

Our group of 8 had the best time there last night!! So much fun that we didn’t even stop to take any picture. 😅😂 The restaurant had built gratuity into the bill which came to a total of about $40 (and some cents) per person. This is a very reasonable price considering what you’re getting. Just wanted to share this info so you can budget for $40 per person.

The meats are good cuts! Went here for lunch. My fav cut is the beef belly. The portions come out small so just order extra plates. We probably ordered 20+ orders of beef belly for the 4 of us! House soup was good! The black sesame and sesame sauce were both good! They also have seafood options and veggies are very fresh! They also have 6 different ice cream flavors for dessert too!

I am a fan of Kim Shabu. I always praise on the excellent selections on the shabu soup options, great vegetables offered and super fresh meat choices. Updated review after Korean Noodle House replaced with Kim Shabu.

This was my favorite noodle spot, now it’s my favorite restaurant hands down! The food: Hot pot ingredients were great! Beef soup was perfect! House spice was delicious! House noodles are still the best in Houston! They have unlimited ice cream too if you can save room for it lol and it bomb too! The service: Never had to ask for help, had a waiter at my table ready to fill orders. Not to mention both the manager and the owner were also on the floor ready to serve. Only thing that was missing was soju in plum flavor. 🫶🏽

We have always been huge fans of the original Korean Noodle House. With the change to Shabu, we are just as impressed. The food is very, very fresh and the service is wonderful. We took our kids there, and the owners took care of them like they were their own. Don't think I've ever seen my little one eat so much food and of such variety. We will return ... alot!

Amazing food for an extremely good price! not too busy when i went on a sunday afternoon, the staff was extremely welcoming and i cannot stress enough how good the food was. probably some of the best kimchi i’ve had, it was very fresh, not super fermented, it had a perfectly sweet and refreshing flavor. the tteokbokki was good but the spicy beef noodle soup is a must! it’s a huge portion, extremely flavorful, and great for the cold weather. i highly recommend this place and i will definitely be coming back
