Salata

This is the best Salata in the downtown area for sure. The workers take pride in their work and are always smiling. An added benefit is that there is a green space right outside and usually once per week there is free live music to listen to. Lastly, it seems like an unlikely place to come for good sweets, but sometimes I’m craving a chocolate chunk cookie and this is the place for that. They are only like $1 per cookie which is a good value in my book. One other tip in regards to price, a large all veggie salad with unlimited choices of veggies and fruits and cheeses will cost a little over $8...if you add a meat expect to add around $4 more. A few other things like avocado are extras also. But I consider the veggie salad an excellent value.

My first Salata experience. Good salad but overpriced. Probably to pay the large staff who seemed more concerned to keep the lunch line moving than help a newcomer. They kept asking for what items I wanted before I got close enough in the line to see my options and seemed impatient that I made them wait. I'll go back if somebody else is buying.
