I haven't been back to JR'S in so long! Brings back old memories. Decided to come check it out last minute with my spouse & another couple for fun. Took a long time to get our drink ordered. Had a great time watching people go up and sing their favorite songs.

My favorite gay watering hole in Houston! The specials & tunes are always jumping, the crowd is friendly & inclusive & the patio is perfect to soak up the Texas sun! I’m a woman & of color & they always show me the most love. No racism here! Reno is an absolute sweetheart & makes outstandingly tasty & strong drinks with a smile! Such a doll! Treat him right for me. All of the bartenders are tip top though & will ensure an outgoing & safe outing with tasty beverages for you! 5/5 easily!

Such a great vibe always decorated through out the season respect staff fun karaoke great drink prices “Murph” the bartender is the best quick fast and funny while making the drinks.

Jrs is always a great time! I love seeing Kofi and some of the other drag shows!! However there is a door person I believe Destiny who appears very racist against other blacks and is very rude at times! I do not like that aspect of Jrs.

I’ve been coming to this bar for years, love the environment and people that go there are very welcoming. Make sure you go to the bartender Matt, he’s super entertaining and can mix some of the best drinks I’ve ever had!!!
