Ever since Hong Kong Chef closed over off Bellaire, this is my go-to spot. I absolutely love 1st Wok!! The owner Is awesome, friendly and funny. The food is as authentic as it gets! Definitely hope they stick around for a long time!

Can't believe I lived out here for three years without trying First Walk. I was missing out on a goldmine.
First Walk is a small hole in the wall. Literally just a counter with a kitchen behind it with one man running the show by himself. Unfortunately his delivery driver left some time ago, so now the place is pickup/take out only.
Because of the small floorplan, the owner passes his rent savings on to you through high quality and large portions for the same price as lesser chinese restaurants. Tried the Broccoli Beef, General Tso's, Mongolian Chicken, and Combination Fried Rice. Enjoyed all of it, ESPECIALLY the beef.
Absolutely will go back regularly. This small place is a hidden gem.

Can’t lie this is my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Htown . I’ve been ordering takeout from this place for about 15years . The taste has never change, just about anything you order is pretty good . My favorite dish is the combo fried rice with beef, chicken, and shrimp (add two egg roll). The beef Lomein is also really good if you’re tired of alway eating general chicken .

I've been eating here for over a decade. Excellent food for the price. We're sad that they no longer deliver but perfect to callin and grab freshon the way home.

I love this place, it's truly a hidden gem just down the way from the Galleria. No tables, just chairs to sit in while you wait for your freshly prepped meal. And the food is cheap, a great bargain.

This is definitely a secret that doesn't get much publicity, located in a strip center located off of the main street, it's easily overlooked. A no-frills restaurant that offers exceptional value due to great taste and large portions. The prices have definitely gone up, but still very reasonable. You can easily get 2 meals out of 1 portion.
I always get the General Tso's chicken and have never been disappointed. Definitely one of my favorite places to get it.
