Love this sushi restaurant. One of my favorites. A bit more than some but the atmosphere, service & food will win you over. Very fresh fish and some unique items on their menu. Definitely a fun place.
Review for Friendswood location. If you're not feeling the small space of NASA location, this one has plenty of room. Took the wife for an early Valentines dinner, and had a fantastic meal. Edamame, gyoza, civiche and several rolls. Everything was tasty and fresh. Prices seem reasonable for the quality. Server was knowledgable and attentive. As of right now, masa is my go to for sushi.

Want sushi? Masa Sushi is just as good as any other place. I don't think my husband and I have ever spent $150 and we drink. I think Zomato may have it priced a little high.
Great sushi although a bit overpriced.
Excellent food and a great atmosphere. Trendy little spot. I'll be back!
We eat here 2-3 times a week. Fresh food, great service, locals, not a chain. May see the occasional astronaut. Brown rice well worth the extra cost.
Delicious and fresh!. The restaurant is almost always packed at dinner time, which tells you something.
The sushi is very creative and well thought-out.
The prices are a bit high, which is typical for a sushi bar.
The flavors are very good and Masa is well worth a visit.
I like Masa in the evening, but my friends and I had to quit coming here for lunch - if there's a large group, the service is slow and the orders are not accurate. But when I come by for dinner with a small party, all's well.
One of the best sushi restaurants in the area. Small but relaxing atmosphere with great service. The sushi is always fresh and the portions are very generous.

Had a suprise birthday dinner here and it was perfect! The waiter was more than accommodating. He offered a roll that wasn't on the menu (can't remember the name) and it was fabulous. It wasn't the best sushi place I've ever visited but it was really good, nice quaint place, clean, great service. Good place to eat if you live on the southside.

Have not had Sushi in years. Alex and I enjoyed a dinner at this local Japanese eatery. Sautéed Edamame, Chicken broth and Mushrooms, House Salad with Ginger Dressing, Spicy Salmon Sashimi and Miso Soup for appetizers. Entrees included Katsu Don (deep fried pork & egg over rice), and Unaju Don (BBQ fresh water eel over rice). Eel was a first for me, very delicious and tender. Very nice atmosphere and service. Everyone should enjoy it.
Great place for some Japanese sushi. We got the Bento box lunch special (served until 3:30 PM) and the Ton Kotsu and Chicken Teriyaki were delicious. Staff is very attentive and the restaurant is clean and has a great layout.
The food is fresh and delicious. My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day and everything was perfect. The atmosphere is friendly and comfy. We made reservations ahead of time since it was a holiday, but did not need to. I ordered the 20 different kind of sushi platter and he ordered hibachi shrimp. Both were delicious and had to take most home.
Excellent service. Went for lunch, had bento boxes, waitstaff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. There was not a lot of room for parking, we had to park alongside the fence but otherwise, such a great place!!
Wonderful happy hour which is everyday after 4 i think. On Monday nights there is half off nigiri which is unheard of. Great quality like always!! None of the nigiri I got was fishy (sake, hamachi, hamachi belly, and scallop). The beef sashimi appetizer on the happy hour menu is bomb. Will definitely be back!!
This place is so welcoming. I walked in and was immediately greeted and sat. My server, Jordan was super patient. I know I changed my order like 4 times before it was all said and done. The food came out quickly and plentiful. Portion sizes were the biggest I have seen for a lunch menu. And the seaweed sushi piece…BABY!!!
A neighborhood staple. We all go here and for good reason. Freshest sushi for miles. Secret: ask for the Michael Sauce if you like spicy and the brown rice option is so good. But ask for “kitchen brown rise” - its a secret concoction Michael’s wife created years ago. Lunch specials are very inexpensive for sushi. We always split the LS1. So much food.
This was my idea for my wife and I today. They give you a ton of good food for a good price. My wife went easy and got some sushi and soup. They weren't very busy today. My waiter made a few mistakes with my order, but fixed them, which led to my wife finishing her meal easy before me. But the food was great and we have always enjoyed going here.
Clean place, decent prices, excellent service. Everything I had was yummy, zero complaints on the food. It's not super fancy or anything, but if you're in the mood for sushi, you can't go wrong here. My waiter was exceptional & treated us very well. Will definitely be back.
I placed an order through Uber eats and it was mixed up with another order so I placed another order. The manager Vincent called me to apologize and even provided a free roll. I am very impressed with their service especially because they close in 15 minutes I highly recommend this place. I’ve had it delivered to my job several times and the sushi is amazing!
