Very cool and relaxed place to have a quick snack, lunch or light dinner.
All the staff is nice and you can order to go.
There are tables outside for those of us that like to feel the weather.
The food is very good. Sandwiches with chips, soups, baked potatoes are among other dishes in the menu.
The salad bar is what I really love about this place.
Drinks and ice cream are self served.

Great food great service. Very delicious lunch menu and combination plates. The chicken panini was amazing . I would definitely stop at a Jason deli for a bite any time i come across one.

Jason's doesn't disappoint. Friendly service an good food. Jose, I assume the manager, was very friendly and helpful. The sweet tea was really good, which is hard to find in Houston, and being from south Alabama, that's kind of a big deal. Only downside was the vanilla side of the ice cream machine wasn't working. It must have been on loan from McD's đŸ¤£.

I just placed a catering order today for scheduled delivery on Monday. Tasha Brown took my call. Tasha went above and beyond to ensure that my ordering experience was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL! From start to finish, Tasha displayed excellent customer service and concentrated knowledge in the products available. Just a great everyday place to go to! Good, fresh, healthy food. Really friendly servers, and a manager that recognizes you. Sure, they're a chain, but the only way you feel that is in how slick their advertisements are. Whoever runs this branch really cares, in terms of their presentation, hiring, and food quality. I come here all the time!
Best part is the open salad bar. For just over 7 bucks, you get the whole meal: salad, veggies, dessert, muffins, trail mix, all this good stuff and as much as you want. This is the kind of place that you make yours--you'll go every day for lunch and it doesn't really get old.
Service is great--I love the salad bar kiosk to automatically take your order for their simple items. Frankly, I don't know how they're able to be so amazing for the price.

The location is great; the staff is friendly. My family and I have been about four times, BUT a few Sundays ago, the salad bar area was dirty, tables were left dirty after guests left. They were out of garlic bread and did not replenish the whole time we were there. The ice cream area was messy. The ice cream machine? All spouts served chocolate. Lol! I'm really hoping that was a super off day.

It's our first time with good impressions. You can find friendly food for someone who needs low cholesterol (in our case).. very nice service. We ordered pasta was a little hard for my taste.. the meat chicken and meatball were pretty deliciuos!

Returning to a Jason's location after being away was a breath of fresh air. Get the muffaletta manager's deal, it's delicious. The food was great and the staff was accommodating to my table's party, which had 3 kids younger than 3. Of course, there's free ice cream with every order.

Clean, hand sanitizer at order line. Surprised to see self-serve salad bar open. Employees wear masks. Most patrons did not. Had the manager special - half sandwich, cup of soup, chips and a drink for about $12.

The staff was so nice! I am from out of town, husband is here in the hospital, so I got confused but then I called the lady helped guid me there and just 15 minutes before they closed. Once inside the staff were so kind, quick and bid me farewell. The food, as always from JD was wonderful! Thank you to each and every one of you! I appreciate it!

In short: Good sandwiches & salad, but like anything in Rice Village, it's a bit slow to get to.
The easiest way to go is to park in the parking garage on the 2nd level, then you can just walk to Jason's Deli on the south side.
The first time I went there, they were nice and explained what to expect, where the drinks were, and were quite pleasant. (I got there just before the lunch rush.)
The sandwiches are competent and tasty. The price is right for what it is. (I paid about $11 for lunch and a drink). The chips are fine, but nothing special.
It's probably not a place to take someone from out of town, but it's great for lunch.
