This was by far the best burger place I’ve been to. I have severe celiac and any cross contamination makes me deathly Ill. It was SO refreshing to encounter such an educated staff that went above and beyond to keep my burger completely gluten free. I will definitely be back in the future! 🤤🤤🤤🤤
This was suppose to be a 3 Star. I dined Hopdoddy twice in the past week. On my first visit I ordered a medium rare that came well done. Everyone makes mistakes so I just finished my delicious albeit dry burger and thought nothing of it. Went again last night. Lo and behold another medium rare burger that came well done. So I asked Chris, my server, whether I’m ordering it wrong. He looked at it a second and said that’s well done, we’ll cook you another. I was too full to eat another burger but couldn’t resist taking one to go just to see how a medium rare would be done. 30 minutes later I was chomping on a perfect medium rare burger. 5 Stars for service recovery and top notch burgers. Thank you Chris and Hopdaddy. Oops forgot to mention it was at the Rice Village outlet in Houston.
We had a really great experience at Hopdoddy today. We ended up parking by the Banana Republic store and this is just around the corner from there. The restaurant was nice and clean as well as not too busy for a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the green chili cheese fries. I really like that the cheese sauce comes on the side so you can dip or pour over the fries. Helps keep the fries crispy if you just dip. The basket of fries is huge! Too much for 2 people, more like for 3 to 4 people. The burgers were on point as well. We had the ones with cheddar cheese, fresh jalapenos, and we asked for the bbq sauce on the side which was good because it was so strong it would have overpowered the burger. We had a margarita and a beer as well. The beer came in a large goblet and was ice cold. Great for the 105 deg weather! Highly recommend this place if you're a fan of great burgers and cold beer.
Great place for burger and fries. We tried The Classic Burger with Cheddar Cheese and Sweet Patato Fries, both was delicious. Good seating area, with inside and outside option. Service was good, you order with your table number, and they bring your order when it’s ready.
I tried the double patty Roosevelt burger! So much meat! It was a beautiful and I sat on the patio under an umbrella and tried to finish that burger! I also refilled my cup with the delicious sweet tea.

I think the standard of a good restaurant that not only the quantity but also the quality. They are both present in here. The sources are tasty and the beef is fresh and tender. Free drinks provided. Also there are many choices of alcohol. I come here twice already and will come back again.
Very good burger! Seasoning was on point, fries were fresh and delicious... only knock was the bun was a not very fresh. I'm not from here, so wanted to try it out. Oh and the margaritas were EXCELLENT!

I was stuck doing test at the doctor's office that was going to keep me in the area for most of the day. I decided to grab a quick bite between tests. I don't venture to the Rice Village often, so I relied on my internet friends that share reviews in order to find a good burger. THANK GOD THAT I DID!!! The food was great. I wanted a good burger; I got a GREAT burger. I ordered a small fry. The sign said "sharable". Come on, who really shares an order of small fries? They were not kidding. The fries were a generous portion, made from scratch and just the right about of coarse salt put these fries over the top. I did not have anyone with me to share with. I was forced to eat most of them myself. It broke my heart to leave some behind. And can we talk about the burger? OMG. Seriously, Oh. My. God. it was just the small burger. That doesn't sound so spectacular, but wow. It was seasoned so well. The toppings were fresh and delicious. Forget about the name "small burger" in was clearly a medium burger at the least.
Now every time that I go to the doctor, I will have to add a stop for lunch. I am a customer for Hopdoddy Burger Bar from now on!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The double bacon jam burger was amazing. The hot honey and sage fries were good. I wish I would’ve had them hold the pepper flakes but still great. My mom had the classic burger. She also said it was delicious. We will definitely be back when we are in Houston again.
I always enjoy the meals I have at HopDoddy from the Parmesan truffle fries to the burgers to the salads and shakes. They always fun and interesting seasonal or limited time variations. Right now it’s hot honey sage sweet potato fries and a thanksgiving Turkey burger. I love that it allows me to try something truly different and inventive. I wish there was more room for substitution and I’d the service after ordering was as efficient and kind as the service you get when ordering. Overall though, I will keep coming back to treat myself to something outside of my norm. It’s also super convenient for me in town and the parking garage is free for 2 hours so you can grab a bit e and still have time to shop/ walk off all the delicious food you just ate.

Nacho fries were amazing. So we're truffle fries. They both are shareable. The burger was a bit sloppy however tasteful.
