This place was great, don't let the Fiesta and big lots in the same parking lot throw you off. It is very nice. There was only one waitress on the night we went and you could tell she was busy but she did not let it effect her service she was fast and kind. Service was excellent and the food was awe
This is without a doubt one of my favorite spots to get good sushi and good service. I do think it is a bit pricey, but is probably for the atmosphere and it's not completely overpriced. Ive had the majority of the specialty rolls there, and a few of the regular rolls, and can confidently say they a
I had the crab puffs (I ate one before taking the pic), and the chop chop roll. Both were fresh and delicious! This place was so clean and modern! The staff wass friendly as well! Will definitely come again. The menu items were decently priced as well.
I went with my mom for dinner and it was so good. We were the only ones there, service was cool, but the food made the entire experience worthwhile. We ordered 3 diff rolls (happy sumo, shaggy dog, and lisa crunch) and the Happy sumo was my fave. I'll definitely do some ToGo or delivery orders in th
They are CLOSED PERMANENTLY NOW 2/2021. So sad!!! Safe distancing in place. Cleaning between customers. Waitress wears mask the whole time. Saturday lunch - had the place to our selves! Food is fresh and tasty. Pricing is average. They have sushi and regular dishes. Love their hot and sour soup! Gre
All day happy hour on Sundays for the win! Good selection and a surprising amount o sushi for $2! Starting from the top, that’s the shaggy dog (which happened to be happy hour). The single piece of Sushi left was yellowtail. Hot spicy man roll and the Godzilla rolls cleaning it up. Enjoyed a $3 Asah
We were in town for the Texans/Titans game and got an opportunity to try Akashi Sushi. It was supwr delicious and to top it off we had Kahlil for a server. He was super attentive and super nice. This young man will go a long way in life.
Great atmosphere, excellent sushi. Great appetizers crab puffs actually taste like there's crab in there not like the cheap cream cheese ones. Ribs were delicious and the sauce was good. The sushi was phenomenal had Godzilla and big Tokyo rolls. O man this place hits the spot!
I have been to Akashi many many times now, and I have never been disappointed. Quality sushi at a reasonable price. They have a large menu, full bar, and plenty of seating (we never have to wait to get a table). All of the staff are very kind and the sushi comes out fast. This is always our go to fo
I have been to this restaurant plenty of times, and I keep coming back! This is my new go-to restaurant for Chinese and Japanese food, especially given its location near the NRG stadium (where there was a lack of solid Asian food choices...until now!). I have been here for their lunch specials (del
Food is always amazing! I'd doesn't matter if it is this one or the one closer to the house. Staff is always friendly and everything comes out expeditiously. All the food I have had was amazing. My friend I went with this past time said it is way better then the place we usually go.
Ordered the Godzilla Roll , won't be disappointed, very friendly to kids made a special order for her
I got a pickup order at Akashi for Christmas lunch and it was amazing! The fish was super fresh and delicious. The fish to rice ratio was also 10/10. I’ll definitely be getting more pickup orders from here!
I've visited quite a few times for happy hour, but never on a Sunday. Had a chance to visit yesterday and was just wowwed at how great everything was. The drinks and the food were awesome! Can't wait to go back!
The atmosphere is nice. Emphasis on fusion however. If you're looking for sweet tea, you cant get it here and many dishes seem to have more of a chinese influence. The sushi was still good though!
Great sushi at a decent price with some very interesting options on the menu. The atmosphere isn't super casual, but it's still kid friendly. We live down the road so we will be back.
