Very friendly local spot. The ‘Q isn’t upper echelon of Houston, but above average for a local BBQ joint.
For me, the brisket lacked smoke flavor, although it was excellent quality meat. The ribs were pretty solid, and the jaleoeno cheddar sausage above average. Potato salad was quite good if you like traditional southern style. Their workflow leaves something to be desired.
Again, overall E’s is above average and I will go back to give them a chance to improved my score!

The folks here are kind and welcoming! Great service as well! Now that we got that out of the way, let's talk about how incredible the food is. My goodness, some of the best brisket I've ever had at any BBQ restaurant. The ribs are amazing! My son LOVES the elotes! These folks are true pros and love cooking for the people that visit them...and it sure does show! I've been numerous times and will never hesitate to encourage friends and family to visit them!
Excellent Texas BBQ, traditional flavors and great service. The three meat combo was enough to fee two adults with leftover. We had the brisket (moist cuts), plain sausage, and pulled pork. Everything was tender and had a good balance flavor of meat/spice/smoke. It was authentic, like homemade. Sides were elote and green beans. Also delicious and a good size portion. The BBQ sauce is on the sweet side.
The dining room was spacious and clean with trendy BBQ decor. Staff was friendly, fast, and welcoming. I rank this high on my list of Houston BBQ joints.
Good BBQ. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork and jalapeno cheddar sausage. They were all good but I really liked their pulled pork. Next, I want to try their pork ribs if I can get there in time because they usually run out fast. The potato salad was on point but I was surprised at how good those beans were, its a must if you get a side. Nice staff too. I think you should give this place a try if you like BBQ and it's local for me so I will be coming back.
Sliced brisket sandwich was delicious - The brisket was well smoked and was tender/moist with a nice smoke ring. Barbecue is hard to fake and this BBQ is the truth. We had a chopped brisket baked potato and it was great as well. We had takeout and are planning to go back. They have beer and wine too
Ordered the brisket, turkey, potato salad and charro beans. The brisket has a lot of flavor on the bark, I was lucky to get some burnt ends too which were super good, turkey was nice, potato salad and charro beans were also pretty good. The customer service was very nice, overall probably one of if not the best restaurant in the area, cool little place definitely come check it out.
We have been going to E's for a few months now and we just had them cater a party for us. For the party we got brisket and turkey. Their brisket was so moist and their turkey is the best! It is never dry and has so much flavor. Great place for really good bbq in the neighborhood!
We ordered Thanksgiving (ham) and Christmas (turkey) meals from E’s. They were both delicious—no one in my family is a huge fan of turkey, but one of my kids had FOUR servings of turkey at Christmas—that’s unheard of! So happy to support this business and hope they are around for a long time!
I was craving bbq tacos and E’s did not disappoint. The meat was juicy and not too salty or too hard. The green salsa was HOT AND SO GOOD! Service was friendly, the place clean, and the food was good. A definite repeat.
