Great food with good prices
The atmosphere is great, but the shrimp is not easy to peel like other restaurants
We've been looking for this place for like 5 mins and it's not on the map.. we didn't knew that this place isn't boiling crab anymore but LA FISHERMAN. Place is pretty crowded.. like tables are really near from each other. I think this place is a lil old. The food here is good.. we ordered pounds of shrimp, mussels, and crawfish.. and their crawfish is award winning like I hated crawfish before but I started to like it cause of em.. mussels are big too so it's worth it. Reason I gave it 4 stars cause there's no rice hahah which is good to match with seafood and it's garlic butter sauce. I could've been 100% full but without rice it's just 70 to 80% satisfaction for me. But y'all should try this .. it won't disappoint you.
Delicious seafood, nice service. But this is NOT Boiling Crab anymore, this is LA Fishman.
When so many people are willing to wait (because, believe me, it can be a wait), you know the food/service is great.
The seasoning they use is addicting. It's what keeps people coming back in my opinion. No matter what they serve, as long as it's covered in that seasoning... it's friggin' amazing... and addicting. Like seriously addicting. MSG much?!

New name same great taste and fast!! Now called La Fisherman. Good service. Got the whole shebang mild yum! A pound of shrimp and corn big shrimp.
$70/couple got us dozen oysters on half shell, 2 cold beers w/water, one large dungeness crab in delicious Asian "hot" sauce (ordered medium heat = perfect) which came in a bag to tear apart (tools provided) on "butcher paper" ... like a BBQ place might do (recall Tom's BBQ in College Station, Aggies?)
Can't drive by this place anymore, have to stop in!
they have the best marinade for seafood I've ever tasted and I've been to plenty of five star restaurants...amazing

The food is great. In spite of what others may say. The wait is sometimes an hour or so, but I do promise u that the wait is wort it. Prices are kind of high, but u pay for what u ask for...
