We love this place! Great service, comfort food, the muffin man, inviting atmosphere. We had fried green tomatoes and fried okra, of course... also liver and onions with apples and potatoes and salad with a huge baked potato. Had to bring most of the potato home for lunch the next day which didn't bother me at all. Always a fun place to dine. We love the rolls and muffins! Had the strawberry and the blueberry this time.

Very nice place! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and our food was DELICIOUS. The fun of them tossing your roll or muffin to you is so EXCITING for most! Some are not fond, but probably because they can not catch... LOL. Not only fun, the roll is hot and amazing. After the roll after a few minutes the offer a blueberry or chocolate chip muffin. Also, they give you complimentary fried green tomatoes and fried okra with ranch. O e thing about it, if you leave hungry......there is something wrong with you...lol

Perfect meal! My wife and I tried the Potato Patch today for the first time. We were very satisfied! She had the steak medium and said that it was one of the best steaks from a local restaurant she's tried! Chili's usually over seasons their steak, Harris County Steakhouse tastes flat, Texas Roadhouse usually overcooks theirs, and SaltGrass has been the only consistent restaurant in getting the steaks perfect. I had a Gourmet Burger which came out very well. This location has sweet potato fries which is a personal favorite of mine. The spiced apples weren't as tasty as I was hoping. The macaroni and cheese for our daughter was very good too! They do come around every few minutes with chocolate, strawberry and blueberry muffins too. The restaurant is very easy to talk in, not loud on the inside at all. They also throw rolls to you! All in all, great experience. We plan to keep coming back!

Great place and good service, awesome food and environment. Came in with a big appetite and left tapping out, not sure it it was the free fresh made rolls they throw at you literally or the fresh made muffins. It was the first time for me friends and family we all left supper full and crawling out the place. Loved it will definitely be going back.

My husband, our toddler, and I went to Potatoe Patch at 1960 near 45 this evening (Tuesday around 7-8pm) and it was great! We were sat at a table immediately, had hot yeast rolls before we even finished getting our kid into her highchair, and had our drink order taken within minutes by Megan (awesome wait staff, btw). We ordered when our drinks were delivered and our food was ready maybe 10-15 minutes later. I'm going to take this line to explain that I always order my steaks medium rare. I usually don't get medium rare steaks delivered to me though and can eat rare-medium well without saying anything. My 8 oz sirloin was perfect. Perfect. And tasty. Like I'm craving another one and I am typing this still stuffed from dinner. My husband enjoyed his country fried steak and mashed potatoes too. And our daughter was treated to mashed sweet potatoes by Richard, which she loved along with alot of our food too (though I refused to share my steak). Megan was kind and on the ball. Everyone was extremely friendly. Their roll thrower/muffin provider is an enabler. We will be back!

Omg I love this place. Brought our 9yr old son here for the first time and he loved all the decor... all the model ships and discovered what a typewriter is hahahah. The ladies totally spoiled him with all the muffins and rolls to fill him to his hearts content. All you'd hear him say...i love this... we need to come back. Food is awesome, service is better. Drove here all the way from Katy and was totally worth the drive lol happy 4th of July yall!

I'm a sucker for hot rolls, so 4 stars instead of 3. Country fried steak had a lot of batter with no steak. Cabbage was good but a bit overcooked to the point it just dissolves in your mouth. Mashed potatoes were fine. Also the free muffins kinda tasted like pancake batter baked in a muffin pan (not really my thing) . Ordered two pieces of pie to go. Seems they got them backwards. The pumpkin was pretty dry, kind of like a pumpkin fudge pie, and the pecan was wet and had a weird taste going on (gasoline'ish)

Our waitress (8/11/17) did a fantastic job serving us today, our group (more than 20) happens to be repeat customers from WWP. She kept the glasses full, got orders right and set the expectation by keeping us informed. And the "hot lady" was throwing it to us left and right (PG13 minds people) lol, literally, the muffins and rolls were awesome. I ate 4 of them before my meal arrived which was the chicken fried chicken..great batter to it, along with pureed sweet potatoes and cabbage.
