FRIDAY Greek feast at Just GRK! 💥 Tasty authentic Greek food from a family-owned Memorial business. We loved the veggie fritters, spinach pie, chicken and beef kabobs, giant meatballs, spicy fries, Greek salad and the whipped feta dip. The portions are shareable and perfect for to-go orders. I ordered from this place by mistake... I meant to order from another Greek restaurant in the area. The mistake was a blessing in disguise! I ordered their Grk Burger with Santorini fries and it was DELICIOUS! Despite ordering our meat well done, the burger meat was so juicy! Not only was it juicy, but the patty was thick and the serving was very generous. I only ate half of the burger and half of my fries, and had the rest for a second meal. The guy that took my order was very friendly and was so nice explaining the garlic sauce that comes with the burger... I despise mayonnaise and he eased my mayo fears. Lol. I will be coming back for sure! My mom kept raving about it with every bite. Definitely recommend and can't wait to try more of their items.
We drove all the way from midtown on the strength of a photo of a burger my wife showed me. Was not disappointed! My wife got the burger and loaded fries and i got the lamb gyro. The cook was so awesome! We are definitely coming back.
An on-point spot with a lamb/beef gyro wrap that was filling and tasty. The restaurant is a very clean and peaceful place that would be great for a date or informal business meeting. They are not kidding when they say that the hot sauce is HOT (it is a mixture of ghost and habanero peppers). I will definitely spend more of my hard-earned money here when I visit Houston again.
A mix of Greek American staples (done really well) and modern interpretations of old country dishes. Truly great food. And the owner is a bodacious Greek dude from Chicago that will talk with you for 15 minutes about the Greek yogurt he gets from Greece. And, yes, the tzatziki is that good. A real gem—must try.
I probably recommend just about everything, but surely the one and only wraps in pita that are 100% authentic with chicken or with pork! Price for quantity and most even importantly, quality is great! I was delighted to discover this with my other greek friends. We are students from Greece studying at Houston and we knew that "just grk" will be our weekly haunt! We feel we ate healthy food after all! Best to chef Chris and his crew! A must visit if you seek the real Greek in the heart of TX! This place with greek souvlaki is our favorite (we love tx bbq too!
We had seen photos that our friend posted on Instagram from their visit so we wanted to go try it ourselves. It was hard to choose what we wanted because everything sounded so good! Lucky for us we got there in time to enjoy the lunch special. It's also a cute looking space and looks clean. We enjoyed our first visit!
2.8.2022 - Just stopped by for lunch and it was busyyyy, but the food came out back to back which was great ! The food was delicious and they changed their menu, it is now displayed on screens which is awesome! Prices did seem to go a bit up but the food was delicious!
Came here for the first time on Friday and I didn't really like what I got, I mean do not get it wrong the foods and flavors were delicious, I just wasn't feeling it. They serve you a good size portion and the food has plenty of taste. The place is small but it has plenty of room to sit. The prices are very decent and our food came out pretty quick. I definitely wanna come back and get a different plate, oh and they have this spicy sauce that's absolutely delicious!!!!
I just came back from the site. Wow! They have a hot sauce that was delicious! I tried a souvlaki with some fries and it was beyond words. Definitely I will will come back and try other plates! The staff was very friendly and explained the menu items in detail. Five stars!
This place is awesome. The blue and white logo to decor to furniture marks a true Greek heritage and spirit.
The food is simple authentic and delicious. I ordered their Greek fries which are some thick crisp french fries. Topped with feta cheese cilantro and salty seasoning. Suprisingly the fries aren't oily and the feta isnt briney!
I also ordered the kebob platter. It's an assortment of lightly toasted pita bread, tomato/olive/feta/seasoned salad, taziki sauce :), 4 delicious juicy kabobs that aren't heavy at all nor too greasy, seasoned french fries, and an onion Cole slaw.
Overall everything was delicious easy on the stomach but really filling! And best part no grease!!!!!
