OMG!!!!! The food is superb. Recently, I had the Italiano sandwich, probably the best Italian sandwich/sub I've ever had. Today, I had the club, and it is in my top three of club sandwiches.

Sandwiches are good. You can actually find their classic sandwiches at Krogers all over Texas. I ordered the warm shrimp po boy. Customer service was slow, even though the store was empty.

I have eaten at Antone's numerous times before. It was easier to find them when they had more locations. My go-to has always been the Original or the Super Original if I'm really hungry. I have tried the Tuna on a previous visit and it was okay. My most recent visits I ate the Cubano and the Tex Mex Cheesecake. The Cubano was okay but my favorite was the Tex-Mex Cheesecake. Both were made to order and hot off the grill. If you like Zappos chips they do carry them. The service is always good and the restaurant is clean.

Ordered a fresh turkey & Swiss and tex Mex cheesecake. Both were prepared very good! The place is also clean with courteous staff. The only thing was I went to the rr and there was no toilet paper or soap.

I love the Original. I’ve been a fan since 1977. I no longer live in Houston but visit frequently and I’ll always order one while I’m there.

A quintessential part of Houston History! But hey - they’re more than just po-boys! The other day I was in the mood for a classic club, and they make a GREAT one!! Toasted bread, ham, turkey, bacon - normally the do Swiss and cheddar, I opted for double Swiss, no cheddar. And hold the tomato for me. It wouldn’t be a po-bit stand if the didn’t offer Zapp’s chips!! So I grabbed a bag of Voodoo!! And then lemonade to wash it all down!! It had to be homemade - and so good! Check them out!

Great food. It was very reminiscent of living in Houston over 30 years ago! Not that many of my favorites still around. Antone's did not disappoint

We came in very close to closing time, which is not ever a good thing to do, and the cashier let us order and was very nice about it. She allowed us to order or meal, which was delicious, even though the store was close to closing. Amazing experience, and highly recommend the great food for anyone in town.

A very tasty, fresh and generous tuna fish and Swiss cheese sub sandwich. Delicious Antone’s crunchy French bread.

Update- new Bonh Mi sandwich delicious, plenty spicy without the jalopenas. Bread perfectly toasted plenty of meat. Had a side of Tabuli and Vodoo chips. Must try it! Dec 10 2021. Po' Boy - turkey and swiss cheese on the slow rising bread was delicious; added lettuce & tomato. Tabouli was the best I ever ate. Creamy and not dry. Antone's new sandwich is pamento cheese on toasted rye. Very good too. Not crowded and price reasonable. Right off 610 & San Felipe. Will be back!
