Had such an awesome experience at Los Cucos in Cypress. I don't even live in Cypress, but I'd heard so many great things about this location and how it was "one of the best", so my friend and I drove over to see what the hype was about. This location is HUUUUGE and is perfect for any party or friends/family get together. They have a patio too which is great for a nice day in Houston! We ordered their limited edition/exclusive "El Jefe 2" margarita and OOOOO it was delicious. This marg was made with tequila made specially for Los Cucos and tasted so fresh and refreshing with lime juice. We were pretty hungry so ordered the family appetizer, which I recommend to anyone dining at Los Cucos with a group because you get to try a little bit of everything (nachos, quesadillas, stuffed jalepenos, and more), and you don't have to argue about which appetizer to order. Then we ordered the Delicioso grilled platter which is hands-down my favorite. I cannot get enough of the shrimp fajitas at Los Cucos -- The seasoning is perfect. Perfect amount of garlic, butter, and different spices that literally have it melting in your mouth. Plus, with the grilled onions and peppers it's just TOO good. The Delicioso also comes with chicken, carnitas, and beef. Again, a little bit of everything. K and dessert...I'm a sucker for the churros so had to get some to go. I was too full to eat them at the restaurant, but they definitely made the perfect midnight snack. Highly recommend Los Cucos & the Cypress location! Trust me, I've had alllll the tex mex you can, and I 100% think Los Cucos is just as good as any other at an affordable price. Lidia was our server and was seriously the sweetest. So attentive, kind, and made sure we knew what to order.

The Los Cucos on 249 has been our favorite for a few years now. They did suffer a bit of growing pains during the remodel, but the food has remained great. The only problem we've had is the house level. Do Not take a business meeting lunch there. You will not be able to hear a word any one says. Other than that, food is always great, drinks are perfect, and service is excellent. Some people I see there run the servers butts off and are still not satisfied and then don't leave a tip. I say sorry assed customers that would stiff a server after running their butts into the ground.

Had a good time eating here. Prices were higher than most mexican restaurants. Food was great. Place was a little loud. They were busy but the music was up a litle too much. ESPECIALLY on the walk in, like a concert loud, yikes!!! We almost left.

The Aroma Of The Food Outside Is What Made Me Want To Vist. I am From New Orleans And One Way We Are Geared To Stop By If You Smell The Delicious Aroma Of The Food Outside And We Also Know Good Food When We Eat It. This Is A Very Busy Location With Dining In And Take - Out Nice Atmosphere. Really Enjoyed The Food.

Food was great as well as service. I got the skinny Avocado meal with chicken, it was very flavorful and I finished every bit of it. I wasn't a fan of the alcoholic beverage I had I only drank half it was more of the juices and soda and as a bartender I felt like I was drinking a non-alcoholic beverage. Overall though we all enjoyed our meals and would return.

Food was great! Better than I expected! They have the biggest menu I ever seen at this type of restaurant! My husband and I plan on going back every weekend until we have tried everything that we want!

Excellent Mexican restaurant, I come here all the time. Friendly staff very quick to get food to you everyone, great atmosphere & attitudes. If you’re in the area stop by or they also have a Mexican seafood place on the other side of the street which is equally incredible.. Maybe I’ll see you there.

We enjoyed dining at Los Cucos. The server was attentive and prompt, food arrived quickly from the kitchen and the prices are fair for what we received. We had the chicken quesadilla.

We came here on a Sunday morning about 11:45. The parking can be a pain in the neck, but thankfully we were able to secure a spot near the front very quickly. We were concerned that the restaurant would be packed, but Los Cucos does a great job of spacing the booths and tables where it's never crowded; if you are at a table and have to get up to go to the bathroom, you won't have to step over someone. I love the queso here! It isn't super runny, and they add tomatoes and small sliced up bell peppers with onions. They also serve it with a cut up flour tortilla that's been fried and pairs nicely with the queso. The mixed fajitas I ordered came out very good. The chicken breast was sliced thick and had a tremendous flavor! The beef however was a little tough, but good flavor. I know it sounds like nit picking, but I hate when biting into the tortilla of a loaded fajita, and the meat can't be bitten into cleanly so the whole chunk of beef comes out. The price tag is comparable to Papasittos. I feel that the service here is very attentive to your needs... They made sure our drinks were topped off, I never had an empty drink before they would refill it. All in all a good experience.

Wonderful place, and such polite and helpful staff. They were also very attentive to our drinks and asked us how we were doing. The live music was a very neat twist to a Mexican Café. The prices were also surprisingly low for such great quality! Spent a great time with family, relaxing and enjoying our meal.

Food was awesome. Initial server had NO interest in servicing our table. We received no silverware and waited 25 minutes with NO order taken. He was serving a large table, was understanding of such, but there's was NO acknowledgement that he was going to service our table, so we/party if 2 asked another server/waitress to take our order and ALL was great thereafter. I will return, but never will be serviced by that server.
