Book a reservation! We walked right past people waiting for seats at 6pm. So glad we booked a reservation. I’m used to hibachi that serves noodles with the rice but this is an added a la carte option. Drinks looked delicious but the kitchen stopped taking drink orders when they were slammed with orders. The waitress was patient in explaining everything that came with each order. I assumed this was an upscale place but it is not. It is similar to a Cheddars or Texas Roadhouse with a different specialty. Very casual and i overdressed. Can get very crowded and smokey when all the grills are running. Sitting at a table full of strangers is normal for hibachi. Plenty of parking in the back and there is valet in the front.

I've always wanted to stop by and eat at benihanas even tho I worked next to it for several years !! So, I'm not going to lie it didn't disappoint me. It's really good that the food has good flavor. The chefs are amazing they really pay attention to how you want your food to be cooked. I also enjoyed drinking a beer (kirrin ichiban). I recommend the pint if you really want to enjoy a good beer with your meal !! I most definitely had a good memory added to many more to come with my woman !! Even tho at first, i wasn't with it that we had people we didn't know sit next to us, but they were cool we made conversations with them and at the end I liked having other people enjoy a good moment at benihanas and yes most definitely we are for sure me and my lady we are coming to enjoy some more delicious food !!

The food is delicious, serving/price is great. However, if you are going for the experience of the chef cooking at your table, don't have high expectations. They do the same 3 tricks as any other similar place.

The food was delicious but I think it's too expensive for that simple and no-extraordinary taste, the service was so good and I recommend only for a celebration or if it's your first time in that type of restaurant

We opted for the bar seating. The grill seating had a 20 minute wait, we didn’t want to sit with other people and the bar seating offered the Astros game, so that was our deciding factors. Jimmy took great care of us. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki steak. Both were delicious and came with soup plus salad. The onion soup was really good. The salad was a basic garden salad with ginger dressing and it was good. The restaurant decor is very Asian inspired. I love the outdoor area with the large bonsai looking trees. Prices are a little bit high especially if you’re not getting the grill experience. They should do a smaller charge for bar service versus grill service. I walked the restaurant after our dinner and captured some pictures to show the other portions of the restaurant. The food was delicious and the evening was good due to our waitstaff service and my dining company.

Been here 30 yrs they have changed alot the food quality has gone down but I like the fried rice phi is the only one that cooks good ask for him he's dose not burn anything like the others do....

We were a group of 7 including 3 kids. We waited less than a minute. Service was super fast, our hostess was very friendly and welcoming, she made sure we all got what we asked for including the non fried rice 🍚🤗for my 7 years old. Food was average to be honest, but the cooking show was very pleasant and enjoyable.

Very entertaining and impressive all the tricks the cooks do. The service is great, I went with a big party and in one instance, there were plates we were finished with and the cook interrupted one of the cleaning people and had them clear our plates. We had just finished with them too.

First time here, The food tasted good but everything was cooked one at a time"first rice,then veggies, then meats(super slow), so by the time you get your meat of choice or even veggies the rice&veggies are cold, the front area looked like a tornado blew threw& no one cleaned up.We got there around 9:45 didnt get my drink until 10:30, got (all) food about 11. I will not be back. The server was very polite but just couldn't get things together, kept forgetting everything that anyone ordered or asked for. The only plus about the whole thing is that the food did taste good. But unless your schedule is free for the rest of the day/night I would not recommend this place.

Was many years since I had visited this location and I have to say the food has gone way downhill. first off our chef did no-show whatsoever which I was kind of disappointed with but at the end the day and it all came down to the quality of the food. the food was very bland and basically had no seasoning whatsoever.

2nd time visiting this restaurant and I have to say that I love it. Had a great experience since I stepped foot in the restaurant. The food is delicious. The chef was very entertaining and our server, Henry was great! He made the whole experience even better. Will definitely go back.

I brought my girlfriend for her birthday. Had a great time, food was delicious. Only complaint i have is, i paid for the bigger portion the 6 course meal and everyone else had the 5 course regular. But we all waa served the same thing & portion. Even the 2 kids who were sitting at our table. I ask them about it, b they lie and said everyone order the larger portion, but i knew they didn't. I just didn't feel like going back and forth with the lady who cashed us out. I will b returning but i know jus to order jus steak, since they going to give everyone the same thing anyway.

Benihana is my favorite restaurant. I live in GA and always go to the Mansell one which never disappoints. Today we have family from out of the country and I wanted to share at my favorite place to eat. Unfortunately it wasn't as I expected and am used to back home. One plus was that we didn't have to wait much for the table. Server was friendly and attentive. Chef was nice but very simple and nothing special even after stating we had 5 people coming for the first time. After watching all other chefs around realized that it wasn't just ours that did that. It seems that this Benihana is more interested in turning tables then providing a fun dining experience. It felt as if we went to a regular same old place. Heartbroken because I wanted this night to be special and wasn't. I hope they get it together and catch up to the other Benihana's performance. Very disappointed and heartbroken

The food was terrible and our waitress was terrible. She didn't know her ass from her head. The only good thing I can say about this place is they need more people in there like the manager he is the only thing keeping that place running.

At the Houston Westheimer location, We were treated to great hospitality by Monica & great food by Chef Tony. We ordered the 6-course meal with the fried rice. Everything was scrumptious. I've never been disappointed by Benihana food, &, in fact, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather eat.

It was okay. I feel like our chef could've done a bit more especially when the table besides you is amazed with their chef. Over all the food was good. The salmon a bit over cooked but the chicken fried rice was awesome!

Well after a 30 minute wait management came and told us we had about a another 20 to 30 minute wait because people with reservations are being service first. Could had told me that when I got there. While I waited decide to order in the bar area. Bad mistake shrimp fried rice one shrimp. Ask for chicken fried rice no chicken. Ask for a fork 3 times waited 15 minutes still no fork. Ask for tea never got it. Management said they were real busy. So I ask so I suppose to eat with my fingers? She just looked at me.

This location is always Amazing!!! We went fit my sons birthday as usual, it's his favorite.. Good was fantastic, service exceptional!! A great value... you get so much food for what you pay...i love the soup and the salad dressing... and the chicken fried rice is to die for!!�����
