2nd time visiting this restaurant and I have to say that I love it. Had a great experience since I stepped foot in the restaurant. The food is delicious. The chef was very entertaining and our server, Henry was great! He made the whole experience even better. Will definitely go back.
I brought my girlfriend for her birthday. Had a great time, food was delicious. Only complaint i have is, i paid for the bigger portion the 6 course meal and everyone else had the 5 course regular. But we all waa served the same thing & portion. Even the 2 kids who were sitting at our table. I ask them about it, b they lie and said everyone order the larger portion, but i knew they didn't. I just didn't feel like going back and forth with the lady who cashed us out. I will b returning but i know jus to order jus steak, since they going to give everyone the same thing anyway.
Book a reservation! We walked right past people waiting for seats at 6pm. So glad we booked a reservation. I’m used to hibachi that serves noodles with the rice but this is an added a la carte option. Drinks looked delicious but the kitchen stopped taking drink orders when they were slammed with orders. The waitress was patient in explaining everything that came with each order. I assumed this was an upscale place but it is not. It is similar to a Cheddars or Texas Roadhouse with a different specialty. Very casual and i overdressed. Can get very crowded and smokey when all the grills are running. Sitting at a table full of strangers is normal for hibachi. Plenty of parking in the back and there is valet in the front.
I've always wanted to stop by and eat at benihanas even tho I worked next to it for several years !! So, I'm not going to lie it didn't disappoint me. It's really good that the food has good flavor. The chefs are amazing they really pay attention to how you want your food to be cooked. I also enjoyed drinking a beer (kirrin ichiban). I recommend the pint if you really want to enjoy a good beer with your meal !! I most definitely had a good memory added to many more to come with my woman !! Even tho at first, i wasn't with it that we had people we didn't know sit next to us, but they were cool we made conversations with them and at the end I liked having other people enjoy a good moment at benihanas and yes most definitely we are for sure me and my lady we are coming to enjoy some more delicious food !!
My husband and I celebrated my birthday here yesterday. The food and service was amazing!! We will definitely be coming back!!! The price range was high because we also got take out.
It’s been years since being at a Benihanas and since we were in Houston I wanted to come by. Everything was good the service and food were all great! Will definitely be back in the future.
The food is delicious, serving/price is great. However, if you are going for the experience of the chef cooking at your table, don't have high expectations. They do the same 3 tricks as any other similar place.
Very nice experience, nothing I've seen berr. The food is tasty and staff is nice. It gets fairly noisy in the room though.

The food was delicious but I think it's too expensive for that simple and no-extraordinary taste, the service was so good and I recommend only for a celebration or if it's your first time in that type of restaurant
We opted for the bar seating. The grill seating had a 20 minute wait, we didn’t want to sit with other people and the bar seating offered the Astros game, so that was our deciding factors. Jimmy took great care of us. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and the teriyaki steak. Both were delicious and came with soup plus salad. The onion soup was really good. The salad was a basic garden salad with ginger dressing and it was good. The restaurant decor is very Asian inspired. I love the outdoor area with the large bonsai looking trees. Prices are a little bit high especially if you’re not getting the grill experience. They should do a smaller charge for bar service versus grill service. I walked the restaurant after our dinner and captured some pictures to show the other portions of the restaurant. The food was delicious and the evening was good due to our waitstaff service and my dining company.
Been here 30 yrs they have changed alot the food quality has gone down but I like the fried rice phi is the only one that cooks good ask for him he's dose not burn anything like the others do....
Great food! The rice was delicious! Great experience for my first time there! I recommend the Hibachi Steak!
