I didn't expect the pizza to be this delicious for bat food! The service and bar staff where super friendly and quick to serve you. The beer options on tap are good enough. Will definitely visit again.

Not the first & definitely won’t be the last time I visit The Union Kitchen. I’ve tried a wide variety of their menu items & the taste is pretty good! The drinks are good & strong (if you like that kinda thing) I could’ve used a little more flavored syrup, but, they were good nonetheless! The servers are nice & efficient.
I got the million dollar deviled eggs for my appetizer (wouldn’t recommend, they had no flavor at all), the blueberi lemon drop w/salt, again, strong but when you say blueberry, I NEED blueberry 😂. For my entree I got the S.O.S (shrimp on a shingle). Great flavor (Thai inspired 🩷), however, the 2 pieces of brioche bread atop the shrimp could’ve been left off.

Visited for Father's Day brunch. The food was amazing and the service was great as always. This place never disappoints for brunch. They have healthy options if you are needing to be a little healthy. I had the breakfast boost bowl and it tasted amazing. This location also has great parking.

Really solid options! We had lobster dumplings which was delicious and I love how they did it - like my mom’s, thin and not overly “doughy”.
Salad was fresh, portobello pizza was scrumptious. Place was cozy and romantically lit.
We didn’t get to do brunch but would like to come.

I have purchased $50+ plates that are not as savory, and balanced as these meals are! EVERYTHING IS PERFECT from the time you walk in. DAVID was our waiter and was Absolutely great. No lines at the time that I went (4pm). Prefect customer and the food, you just have to take my word! GO!!

We stopped through for a friend's function held in the back private dining room area. We did not eat or stay long due to the tightness and no seating left. We did look at the gigs that had been set out, and while it may have tasted better than it looked, it did not look particularly appetizing. The pizza looked really dry. Two things on the menu sounded like it might have been tasty.
Parking is shared between multiple locations and is tight. Staff was friendly. The patio looked like it would have been the ideal place to eat because it's open and airy, but it was super hot, so it was unused.
I'm sure those who don't mind the tightness of the space on the inside and who actually have tried the food like it. This is based merely on visuals. Perhaps if there had been seating, we'd have stayed long enough to have a drink, at least.
By all means, give them a try, but drive your tiny car. 😁

We had the shrimp and Gorgonzola and Tyler’s chicken pasta, both very delicious! Our waiter and Ralph, the manager were both very attentive and sweet. We were out celebrating our one year and they gave us a plate of beignet’s, it was very sweet and we appreciate it so much! Thank you!

Initially, our first time experience at this location started off very poorly. We were not greeted when seated. About 20 minutes went by and no one said a word to us. I then stopped a server and asked for our server. Unfortunately, we were told our server was busy with other guests but would be with us shortly. This never happened. However, the GM, Adam, came over with a new assigned server, Amanda, and they made our experience phenomenal! We were waited on promptly, respectfully, and they were very attentive to our needs. It means a lot when the GM takes time from his day to personally provide services to your party. Thanks again, Adam and Amanda!

If I could rate lower I think that I would. Went in for a late lunch today and first our waitress spoke so softly it was really hard to understand her. Second my fries were extremely hard and not at all edible. Third they cut my husbands wrap on such an extreme angle it was difficult to eat, they put the aioli on the side which was not stated on the menu , also they added items to it that were not stated on the menu.
We will not be returning.

We went for brunch. We were dressed down, very down, and upon entering we felt inappropriately dressed; however, we were warmly welcomed and it wasn't long until we saw a wide variety of dress attire from way casual to Sunday best. All were welcome. We had breakfast tacos, eggs Benedict, pancake sliders, and Paul's breakfast sandwich. All GREAT! Portions were large! Plan to share. Professional yet very friendly service, fun atmosphere, amazing food selection, amazing food, and great prices. We will be back!

We were a party of nine and had a reservation for 12:30 PM on a Sunday, brunch time. We began arriving separately at 12:25 and were seated immediately at our table which was already prepared with napkins, silverware and wine glasses. We were attended to by an attentive, pleasant waiter named Ken, who immediately began taking drink orders from those of us who had already arrived - no waiting for the entire party! Everything was delightful. Our food was served hot and we all enjoyed every bite! We were celebrating birthdays and had brought our own cake; Ken cheerfully provided small plates and fresh forks! The brunch menu covers almost anything and everything anybody could possibly want, and their drink specials are quite extensive. This was a first-time visit for some of us, and some in our party are from out-of-town, but nobody was unhappy, everybody was satisfied with both food and wait staff, so we'll probably be going back there! Kudos to Ken!

We just celebrated my mother's 81st birthday here this evening and had the most special experience of a lifetime. The food was hot, delicious and quick to come out. The staff was beyond amazing and went all out making my mother's birthday so incredibly wonderful. The hostess was so friendly and had us seated right away. Russ, our server, was great. He was super patient and gave us excellent service. Derrick, one of the managers, was super kind and welcoming. David, another manager on duty, was so awesome!! He always gives such amazing customer service. You can tell he loves working with people. He has a wonderful personality and always remembers you. He is extremely welcoming, charming and personable. Even in a hectic restuarant setting, he goes out of his way to check on you and makes you feel special. Honestly, my mother felt like the restuarant was rented out just for her tonight and she had the best experience. She was walking on cloud 9 when we left and went on and on about what a great night she had. I am super thankful she picked Union Kitchen for her celebration this evening. We were so blessed to have her enjoy her special night. Thanks David, Union Kitchen and staff.

We didn't even get to eat here, the waiters served people seated after us and never even stopped by to take our drink order. My boyfriend was taking me to lunch on my lunch break and I just wasted 15 minutes of it waiting for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink or even bring us a glass of water.

Brunch was fantastic. Even though quite a few menu items used repeat ingredients, they were put together in fun combinations. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was great, too. The mimosas and frozen rose were delicious, too. I don't drink bloody Mary's but the people with me said the bloody mary bar needed bacon and a few more items. I liked the décor as well. I can't wait to return!

It was my birthday and the manager, David and Chef David Hernandez made a beautiful and delicious dessert for me. I’ve never felt more special. This is my favorite restaurant. Also, Henry and Onyx are exceptional waiters. I can’t believe it’s not more crowded because this is the best happy hour in town!

Stopped in this evening on the way to the Durham Elementary father daughter dance to grab a couple of Shirley Temples and a glass of wine before the dance and they wouldn’t serve us at the bar because they have a no kid policy at the bar even though a few weeks ago my son and I sat at the same bar waiting on our to/go order and watched about 15 minutes of basketball and grabbed a soda and a beer. Not sure what that was all about but the manager said he had to protect his bartenders. Anyway your restaurant your policy but obviously not a place for my family.

First time here. Celebrated a friends birthday. Really enjoyed the Voodoo balls, the spicy dumplings on their small plates. Margaritas were delicious. Crusted chicken was very good. Great place.

My children and I went just because we were driving around in the area. The staff was super attentive and the food and drinks were superb. As far as the price is concerned. "You pay the price if you expect something nice". I loved it and will return with more customers. A great brunch spot also. Oh yeah Kenneth was the sweetest server EVER!!! Thanks Union Kitchen!!!
