This place has a great happy hour, 5-7p.m., select pizzas are 1/2 off ($5-7). The staff is friendly and makes this true, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, a must-try! My personal suggestion is to get pies that have "double" or extra sauce, as well as "extra crisp!"

Came here to rock in the new year! The pizza was great! They have specials throughout the week depending on the day, happy hour Monday through Friday, and brunch on the weekends! What’s not to love? The atmosphere was authentic, the layout of place was creative in the modern world. You could watch a game here at the bar if you’re trying to hang out with friends somewhere in public or hang outside in their outdoor seating away from the general public. Your pick! 👍🏽💯 Definitely recommend this place for their pizza and salads!

I love their pizza. Get the jabroni, it is the best. I also got the meatballs and cheesy bread. I love sitting at the bar and watching them make my pizza. One awesome thing is the pizza only takes a few minutes to be ready. I like asking for a crispy pizza because sometimes it is too doughy for my preference. One thing I wish is that they have fresh parmesan cheese and hard liquor but that is not a deal breaker for me. I also wish there was more surface lot parking for those high traffic times.

You have to have the pizza here at least once! (And then you’ll want to eat ONLY pizza from here). You might need a fork and a knife, but trust me, it’s super worth it. Recommendations to try would be mozzarella nugs for an appetizer, Prosciutto e Ruccola pizza, and a S’mores calzone for desert. Don’t skip out on the desert pizzas, they’re the cherry on top of an amazing dining experience. Always friendly staff, and it’s fun to watch the pizzas get made (sit at the pizza bar, maybe you’ll see some flips!) Edit 2/20: came for Karbach night and had the deviled eggs and a pizza. Exceptional as always and a really cool promotion!

Stopped by Cane Russo on a whim after driving by. It looks small from the outside, but it was very light an open inside. As soon as you walk in, a wonderful aroma fills your senses. Per our server Melissa's suggestion, we started with the Sangria and the zucchini & artichoke fritters (fontina, parm, roasted garlic, farmhouse dip). I am not usually a big fan of Sangria, but Melissa was right! This stuff is good! And, those fritters! Oh my gosh, perfectly fried, crispy cheesy goodness! You won't be disappointed. My friend and I shared the truffle carbonara (fettuccini, cracked pepper, bacon, truffle cream, egg yolk) and the jabroni pizza (pepperoni, tomato sauce, housemade mozzarella, pesto, parm). I was really looking forward to the truffle carbonara, but there was something off about it. It had a smoky flavor. I tried to like it. I kept eating it hoping that I would get used to it. But, I couldn't. Someone else may like it. It just wasn't for me. The pizza was delicious, but it was sooooo greasy. it was literally sitting in grease. Looking at the ingredients, I'm not sure what could have made it so greasy. However, the flavor was amazing. The tomato sauce on the pizza is so light and fresh. I don't know if that sauce is made in house, but it sure tastes like it is. The pesto is a nice accompaniment to the other ingredients. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. And, the manager was very hands-on. He was helping deliver food and drinks, helping clean off tables, etc. Looking around, it appeared that all of the staff really worked well together. Their attitudes were very similar to the rest of the restaurant, light and friendly. I will definitely return to try something new! (And, more of that Sangria!)

First time to this place; I was doing an oil change across the street so I decided to try this place since pizza is one of my favorite foods. Definitely their pizzas have different ingredients than your normal dominos. I would say these are more like gourmet pizzas. I ordered the bodega since the description on the menu looked appealing and it had a particular ingredient that I’ve never had on a pizza, scrambled eggs, yes you read that right. The pizza tasted good, not the best one I’ve had but despite the “rare” ingredient I felt it tested good. The pizza is very soft, so be prepared to eat it with utensils rather than with your hands. Im giving it 4 starts mostly because of the price, and the flavor was great but not excellent. The tomatoes tasted like they were not ripe. I’ve gotta add that the $2 mimosa was perfect, best $2 mimosa I’ve remembered to have tasted. Would likely come back to try more dishes in their menu.

Service was amazing, with our host and server both being friendly and interactive. For our table of three, we ordered breakfast frittata, skillet hash and Josh's big biscuit brunch meals, and one PBR pizza to share. All were nicely presented and tasty as well. The skillet hash seemed more like a sauce which contained all the listed ingredients though. Just something to have in mind when ordering. Overall, our visit was enjoyable.

I had an amazing time at cane rosso today. My server Paris was so friendly and helpful. The music that played was comforting and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was so very intoxicatingly delicious and it was all the way around a great experience. Even the manager was Theresa was so welcoming and funny. I will definitely recommend this place to many of my friends. Complements to the chef and my hat is off for the restaurant in all. I will be back very soon. Who knows, maybe for dinner tonight as well.

I went here for brunch with my girls and the food was awesome. Two pitches of mimosas for 24.00 each one is 12 which ain’t bad. Loved my fried chicken with waffles 🧇 . Also order the skillet

Best pizza I've had in a long time. Saw it in Houston Chronicle story of reader submitted polling on best pizza in Houston. I agree that they are #1. They stay true to Italian recipies and ingredients, and the atmosphere is classy, yet relaxed. I spent $30 on a 14" pizza, sandwich, and Soda. It was worth it. Huge portions. The photo doesn't do the sandwich justice. It was 12" long and 6" wide. The phone in the photo is a Samsung S8 which is 6.5 " long for scale.
