Is there anything this family doesn’t do well? Just like all their other restaurants, this was authentic and high quality. Had to try the brisket, and it stacks up to the best places in Austin. Great crusty bark, smokey flavor and pull. Sausage was pretty good, more like a kielbasa, but good.
Surprisingly good for the amount of items they serve. The brisket I ordered fatty and it came out perfectly. The black was nice and salty and the meat was very tender and flavorful. The mac and cheese was creamy and the fries were fresh. I really like this place and think the large beef brisket plate was actually worth it. I had left overs and made brisket tacos at home, still delicious!
Good food. Great service. All the staff was nice. The line was quick, but easy. Ribs were tender and chicken was juicy. The prices were fair. Nice environment and clean. They have a drive through which is convenient. Downtown traffic is beware during rush hour.
