Oishii Restaurant - Houston - Photo album

Great food for an affordable price. Had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table as the restaurant gets very busy. Service could have been better. Definitely recommend this place for Sushi. People who look for cooked or fried options in sushi definitely go for the “Sumo Maki”. It was the best item we
This place is HANDS DOWN the BEST sushi place in Texas, I’ll put my money on it. The quality of the sushi is noticeably better than any sushi restaurant you’ll go to. We honestly only go to Oishii now for sushi but every now and then we will go to another sushi spot and can now taste the quality dif
Oishi means yummy/delicious in Japanese. They have wide range of choices, also happy hour provides decent option too. The food came out quickly, the restaurant was crowded around 2ish pm but still manage to get a table for two. I ordered Caterpillar and Hamachi hand roll, I dont like sushi rice from
Great affordable sushi restaurant that offers a diner feel. We came just before happy hour ended and took advantage of it. The deal was buy one get one for free for some appetizers. We ordered egg rolls, fried squid, and salmon roll and tuna roll. The rolls from appetizer section was not our favorit
We love to come here during happy hour. Sushi is fresh and at a good price. We enjoyed the iced green tea, eel roll, spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll. We've also tried one of their sashimi/roll specials that was also very good. Definitely one of my favorite sushi places in Houston. Parking is my onl
Absolutely fantastic! Stopped by and got the #10 (see pic for menu) which included 9 assorted pieces of sushi and a cup of soup for $10.95. Sushi was delicious, service was great think I had my drink refilled like four times, and prices in 2023 are unbeatable. My favorite place for Sushi in Houston
Our new go to sushi spot. Oishii is great!! Fresh sushi at a great price. Highly recommend trying it out. The only downside is the limited tables & wait. I recommend going as soon as they open to avoid a long wait.
Oishii is a solid Houston staple for Japanese fare at a great price. Their entrees come with large portion sizes. I’d recommend trying their affordable specials e.g., we ordered the Special A: 2 piece Salmon, 2 piece Tuna, 2 piece Escolar, and a Crunch Roll with Miso Soup for only $12.95. Note: Oi
One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Food is so excellent, the prices are even better. The staff are incredibly friendly and the place is always busy. I cannot say enough good things about oishii. They have maintained many staff members for the 10+ years I’ve been going and they make my day
I have eaten a lot of sushi all over the country snd this restaurant puts out some spectacular food. High quality, super fresh and great portions. Their happy hour specials are ridiculously impressive, so much that there is usually a 1/2 hour wait. So get there early This is not a high-end looki
Omg. Totally sushied out. Great flavour at a great price. Went to the happy hour and left satisfied and happy. Sushi/sashimi was fresh and delicious.
We usually come during happy hour, and every single time, we are never disappointed. We have been coming for years, and the prices are always reasonable. The food is good and filling, and the service is prompt. There is typically a wait time of around fifteen minutes.
I've lived behind this place for 10 plus years and it NEVER DISAPPOINTS..yes it's small..and yes, you may have to wait in line....but it's worth the wait...happy hour is the best in town..BOGO? Who does that? Oishi does!
Visit : June 2023 Had a piece of waygu A5, it was very good, flavorful, juicy, but did cost quite a bit. It was worth the experience. Got the salmon bento box. The salmon was cooked really well, but the sauce for it was a bit slimy which felt off-putting. Sadly, the sushi rolls that came with the b
Tried the sea urchin (my first ones ever), tuna, spicy tuna, crab, octopus sushi, nigri & sashami - and EACH piece was a revelation & a masterpiece! They were irresistable too, and made the 1.5 hours wait worth every minute!
Food is amazing! Service was good but they are very busy during lunch. The prices are awesome for their lunch specials and you can't really beat them anywhere else! I ordered the sashimi and the salmon teriyaki. They were delicious. The Sashimi was very large. Definitely would recommend this spot fo
Probably the best priced sushi to quality ratio in the greater Houston area. Parking is a headache sometimes, and there can be long waits for a table depending on when you go. With that being said, its still 5/5 stars. The lunch special and happy hour are amazing deals. You can get a quality full me
