We arrived about 30 minutes before closing time. And the staff was very, very nice. Very accommodating and quickly seated us. They gave us the menu water and took our order. The food was very good, very fresh. This restaurant has a very authentic look and feel to it. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

This place is well positioned within walking distance to multiple hotels, which is one of the key reasons for my visit. I've eaten here multiple times, and I have no complaints.
The menu is a bit different from other Tex-Mex offerings in the area and I always like it when a place can mix up the norm. I honestly don't recall what I've had each time, but again, I keep coming back? The warm salsa is also a nice change of pace, I recommend requesting their "spicy" offering as well!
Service is good, not outstanding, but zero complaints.
Overall, I'd recommend checking the place out! They've got a really great outdoor patio as well!

Sylvias’s did not disappoint! For a place that specializes in enchiladas, they had quite a lengthy menu! Never had the chance to try South Mexican enchiladas, so I gave it a try (they had like a dozen different kinds)! It was amazing!! Got it with the red hot sauce, and it was bomb!! Price speaks for what you’re getting, compared to other Mexican restaurants. This was a good price!
Service was also amazing! Very quick and attentive!
Got chocolate tres leches for desserts, and ot was also fantastic!!
Will definitely check out the other locations! Can finally say I’ve been to Sylvia’s!! 💜

Excellent place for enchiladas! Get the Mexico City with goat cheese it’s wonderful. I also had one of the strongest margaritas order The Perfect Margarita Don over ice. Just wonderful.

We had a great lunch experience at Sylvia's.
Especially, the hospitality of Mr. Alex (waiter at Eldridge location) was just outstanding!
He made sure several times that we get the best dining experience. He helped us choosing the right dishes from the menu as it was our first time trying their food.
He was extra careful in making sure that we're being served well and he was undoubtedly successful!
He never lost his smile and enthusiasm in helping his guests. He definitely deserves promotion with great pay!
Me and my husband were delighted to have a great dining experience with yummy food and world class service!!!

Drove all the way from Rosenberg to try this and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing and Dahlia did a fantastic job of making sure we were taken care of. The only bad part is now we have to make this drive more frequently! 😉

We went with our family after mass last Sunday. We liked what we ordered and it was delicious.
But for big eaters, it may not seem like enough, but because of the cheese, it holds well in the tummy.

Sylvia's is simply one of the best hidden gems in the Houston area. Sylvia herself, holds culinary class on the first Saturday of every month that can be made online.
The soups are AMAZING and the enchiladas are superb offering numerous varieties, you're sure to find your style, all under one roof!

The Donna plate. Presentation nice. Rice and beans good, rice was fluffy. Chips and salsa good, salsa was warmed.ave
No DrPepper or root beer. That is on the manager though for not getting it set up.
Ambiance nice and the place was very clean.

The service and the food was excellent kind of pricey for a cup of fildeo $8.00 it takes $2.00 to buy a box of fildeo and servers 12 people WOW.
