We arrived about 30 minutes before closing time. And the staff was very, very nice. Very accommodating and quickly seated us. They gave us the menu water and took our order. The food was very good, very fresh. This restaurant has a very authentic look and feel to it. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
Updated review from two years ago: The place is really large and nicely decorated, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff and servers are always amazing. This place is well positioned within walking distance to multiple hotels, which is one of the key reasons for my visit. I've eaten here multiple times, and I have no complaints.
The menu is a bit different from other Tex-Mex offerings in the area and I always like it when a place can mix up the norm. I honestly don't recall what I've had each time, but again, I keep coming back? The warm salsa is also a nice change of pace, I recommend requesting their "spicy" offering as well!
Service is good, not outstanding, but zero complaints.
Overall, I'd recommend checking the place out! They've got a really great outdoor patio as well!

Sylvias’s did not disappoint! For a place that specializes in enchiladas, they had quite a lengthy menu! Never had the chance to try South Mexican enchiladas, so I gave it a try (they had like a dozen different kinds)! It was amazing!! Got it with the red hot sauce, and it was bomb!! Price speaks for what you’re getting, compared to other Mexican restaurants. This was a good price!

Excellent place for enchiladas! Get the Mexico City with goat cheese it’s wonderful. I also had one of the strongest margaritas order The Perfect Margarita Don over ice. Just wonderful.

Especially, the hospitality of Mr. Alex (waiter at Eldridge location) was just outstanding!
He made sure several times that we get the best dining experience. He helped us choosing the right dishes from the menu as it was our first time trying their food.
He was extra careful in making sure that we're being served well and he was undoubtedly successful!
He never lost his smile and enthusiasm in helping his guests. He definitely deserves promotion with great pay!

Drove all the way from Rosenberg to try this and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing and Dahlia did a fantastic job of making sure we were taken care of. The only bad part is now we have to make this drive more frequently! 😉
We went with our family after mass last Sunday. We liked what we ordered and it was delicious.
But for big eaters, it may not seem like enough, but because of the cheese, it holds well in the tummy.
Sylvia’s was great! The atmosphere was calm and inviting and the service was excellent. Our server Julio was very attentive, nice and provided great service! The food was amazing! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend for a dinner night out in the town.
