Fabulous food
Attended a meeting and the service was exceptional. Food was great!!!! Order stuffed avocado and I recommend it 100%

I love this place! This is our favorite Tex-Mex place! There are probably a ton of reviews that praise this place, for it truly is excellent. I will make this about what is unique about this location.
First is the service, it is always great all the time. They are nice to their customers and always smiling and laughing. If there is a problem, there are quick to correct it. We have really only had one time where the service was ok. We believe the person was new and they had their tables spread out. We were just waiting a lot. Overall, great service almost all the time, tip them well please. :)
Now, for the unique food. According to my Dad, who frequents the downtown area Chuy’s, this Chuy’s is the home to the Elvis Presley fried chicken (a favorite of my brother-in-law and was in the Green Chili Fest special for 2016) and the Tuesday special Wild Burrito (one of my favorites and my Grandma from Utah’s favorite). Both are fantastic and totally worth visiting this location, even though the burrito is only a special you can get the fried chicken no matter what day it is. So come on down and try this fantastic Tex-Mex place!
I have been to a Chuy’s in years. Based on the recommendations of some coworkers, I ordered the chicken boom-boom enchiladas to go. When I walked into the place on a Tuesday around 5pm, this place had this vibe going on. I wanted to stick around and have a drink or two. The enchilada dinner was very good, and based on this meal, I could compare them with the Pappasito's Cantina and Lupe Tortilla. My only drawback about this place is its location (Northwest Freeway and Highway 6). The ongoing construction along the Northwest freeway is a pain and Highway 6 can have some congestion.
While driving back to town from the burbs, we stopped at this place to feed my margarita thirst. My last experience with a Chuy's was extremely bad. The location we went to served us inedible food and put me off. Since then I have avoided Chuy's but this experience wasn't that bad.
We were seated outdoors and it was nice. I personally find Chuy's too big and too loud for dinners. It does get chaotic in there.
Service was ok. Given the crowd I would have expected more delays.

Definitely not a bad experience this time around.
Looking for a higher rated tex mex in northwest houston and it was chuy's. went early so no issue with lines. Waitress was excellent. Very helpful brought me a couple if different sauces to try out (they were all good). Had dinner and a beer as did my wife got out at $25.00! Food was spicy( as it should be) but not overpowering. Could taste meat and sides along with the heat and flavor of sauce. I loved it! Good value honest tex mex. watching the lady make tortillas near our table just verified why everything was so fresh. Tortillas were amazing! Go to chuy's
Jalapeño. Ranch. Sauce.. Order the shrimp tacos with extra jalapeño ranch sauce. Yum!
Creamy Jalapeno Dip. I HATE the sauces they put on the enchiladas but LOVE LOVE the creamy Jalapeno Dip! Worth it to visit all the Chuy's in Houston and Austin just for the decor and to snag a t-shirt. The kids love it.
Chuy's IS Tex-Mex .... We love Chuy's agnostic of location, but this is our local haunt. The salsa is addictive and we routinely stop by to pick it up to serve to guests at our home. The green chile salsa, particularly the Hatch, are tasty and the every menu item I've ever had is worth a repeat.
However, be sure to hit Chuy's when chiles are in season ... the menu is altered for the chili-fest and the fresh chiles, particularly the chile rellenos, are to die for.
Of course, if we want fajitas, we go to Lupe's or Pappasito's. For all other Tex-Mex, we head to Chuy's.
Fantastic. This was my first experience with Tex-Mex since I moved to Houston. I'll be willing to try other places, but I have a feeling I'll be frequenting Chuy's quite often. I got an enchilada and a chile relleno. This meal was better than any Mexican/Tex-Mex I've ever had before. When I go back, I will get the hotter sauce, as the sauce I chose (can't remember the name) was not spicy, but still tasty.
Other notes: No draft beer, good happy hour specials, loud atmosphere.
Best is of course the orginal in austin but this is a really fun place for happy hour
They need more waiters it took while to get attended, but overall, the food was good, except for the shrimp they need the real shrimp n grill them.. not the ones for cocktails shrimp it gave an off flavor to the grill for two...the queso dip was awesome n chips too... the watermelon margarita was delicious... delicious 😋
Delicious Mexican dishes with awesome bom-bom sauce. The combo fajita and chicken enchiladas were perfect. Large portions sizes, with plenty of sides, and nice staff. Will definitely come back.
My husband and boys are love this place, the reasonable price and tasty food made my boy finish the whole meal and telling me he still feel hungry 😋. Every dish around $10-$12 and serve with a huge plate. Servers are nice too.
Not bad food at all and the service is always great. They don't really have anything extra spicy but it's very well flavored and larger quantities. Your craving some good Mexican food you cannot go wrong.
Our service was hands down some of the best and fastest in Houston I love it ! The employees were more than welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was amazing and it was just a really good time I definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mexican Food. Thanks again

First time going to a Chuy's establishment. Since then, I have taken my lunch breaks at this establishment since the food has been great as well as timely. Service has been good so far with staff checking up on customers occasionally with a friendly service. I highly recommend this place. Another note, is that the food price for the size is phenomenal.
Great food only place that has good fajitas. They have only messed up once on the fajitas where they were under chard once.
BRING BACK THE ELVIS PRESLEY FRIED CHICKEN. IT WAS THE BEST!!!!
We had a great time at Chuy's! The food is good and reasonably priced. I've never felt under or over served. The atmosphere is interesting and I never see people who are unhappy eating there.
The food was good, really enjoyed the fajitas. Unfortunately the service was not good, our server took our credit card and then forgot about us. I literally had to go find him to pay our check
