This place cooks and serves the best pizza in Houston. It hits just as hard as NY pizza does. I will no longer be going to other pizza joints unless it’s here. If there’s one critique point, I’d give it more of a bake so it’s a little more crispy but it’s still 10/10 !!
Second time getting a pie from these guys and I have to say this time was even better than the first. Great classic pizza. I like to add pepperoni. Good undercarriage, good crisp. Cheese tastes great. Everyone knows the rules.
Tried this pizza place for the first time and it’s safe to say this won’t be our last! Conveniently located in river oaks near plaza, there is ample parking. We ordered Romano, which comes with ham, fresh tomatoes and basil. This is such a delicious and not greasy or heavy at all pizza that we devoured it instantly. Can’t wait to come back! Glad to have found a place that does New York style pizza right
My daughter & I ordered a couple of slices and they were great! Crispy, hot & not too greasy. Great customer service, friendly staff and a clean restaurant. We look forward to coming back.
Perfect atmosphere for an evening dinner. Their New York style pizza was delicious. Should be coming back soon.
Pretty good pizza. We had the margarita and it was delicious! New York style. Get it extra crispy.
Absolutely the biggest slice of pizza I have ever had and delicious and cheesy I enjoyed every bite.
Romano's Pizza offers freshly baked pizza slices or by the whole. Ask for your preferred ingredients and have it done within minutes. Their veggie pizza is well made, and it doesn't taste like a salad!
You will be happy to take some home for later.
Classic casual Italian food. We have been going to Romano's for 10+ years and I can say it has consistently been good. A customer came in while we were dining and told us that they have been going since late 1990s, so that tells you something!
Spectacular, HOT food. We got lasagna which came with a side salad and garlic bread, then shared a pizza. 10/10, definitely try.
I wasn't entirely sure this place would be good bc the online pics make everything look sloppy. I decided to go anyway bc my sister convinced me. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza & didn't have to wait much. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised! The pizza reminded me so much of NY. I must say that it was better than most pizzas I've tried. This should be a top 3 place in Houston. The dough is crispy but doughy at the same time but the true ingredient that makes it really good is the sauce. If you are wanting to try this place, do so!
