Over a very great atmosphere. Blue is the best server ever! The menu is easy has so many great choices so u gotta go with friends and taste everything! The membership for drinks makes it seem so exclusive. We are definitely going back!
Delicious, our waiter was absolutely great, funny and friendly. Fabulous recommendations. Great wine list with decent prices.
Fantastic fresh and delicious food. Very good service, with contemporary surrounds. The steak and fries is immense in size; I saw 3 men sharing! :)
I had the freshly made pasta and added crab. So good. My friend had the grilled eggplant with smoked cheese. Tasty badness in my mouth. Yum
Love this Gulf Coast concept kitchen. Wonderful oyster selection and great wine list!
Southern food at its finest! The I-10 platter is a must. 12 east coast oysters, picked shrimp, phenomenal fish dip, and shelled blue crab legs served with toast, chicharrones of record size, and thinly sliced ham... everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! Our waiter, Steve, recommended the shrimp toast which I would consider mandatory on return visits. The toast is delicious on its own, but the gravy is worth dipping your spoon in. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly cooked and came with a light sauce preferable to the standard remoulade. The churro with chamomile ice cream was definitely yummy, but I'd recommend the fig dessert of the two. Props to Treadsack for another great dining experience. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere hit the mark.
Every plate was good. Service was friendly and attentive. Specially liked the Crawfish Monkey Bread and the Oyster Fettuccini. The Pork was very tasty as well. Will be coming back
Update:
Went back for Brunch. I have yet to order a bad plate here. The fried green tomatoes were very tasty, I ordered them as an appetizer. The Rockefeller Crab and Fried Oysters with biscuit and eggs are a signature plate. Also, I enjoyed the Open Sandwich Cochon with Fried Egg.
Bernadine's gets my recommendation for one of the best restaurants in Houston.
Deliciously perfect! I have now been to Bernadine's for lunch, brunch, and dinner. From hostess to the bartender to the wait staff, the service was excellent. The food makes me happy, be prepared to open your wallet but it will be 100% worth it.
Had a great time here last night. The menu and food offerings all sounded incredible, it was hard to decide. So we ordered way too much food. The pimento-cheese and crawfish monkey bread was very tasty, however they don't put enough of the sauce on the bread, the ratio is wrong and you end up with half the bread left and no more sauce, unfortunate. The marinated crab claws are a must, and I recommend keeping the remaining sauce for the rest of your meal to dip other items in. The smoked fish dip, also incredible, the addition of other groceries aside from the fish is a nice touch you don't see everywhere. I ended with the Cold smoked oysters and ghost pepper caviar, which were very good, however misleading. No ghost pepper comes through, which might be their goal, but I don't get it. To compare, the crawfish bread was much spicier. My date also got the Pork Ribs with popped sorghum. He loved them, made it to the best pork ribs he has ever had list. Be mindful that it's a sweet bbq sauce. Didn't leave room for dessert, although I have to when I return, they all sounded amazing.
The strawberry basil margarita with spicy lemon drop pepper tincture was fantastic and the Horse's neck cocktail tasted just like bourbon and Verrnors, for you Detroit natives like me.
Wednesday evening around 6:30 is an easy time to get a table.
