Morton’s everywhere is awesome, this in in Huston is amazing!! It’s a must visit in the city and just around the corner from the ALAMO !!!! Fantastic!!!
Steak and Key Lime Pie!
I had Filet Mignon, and it’s so good as expected. Key Lime Pie was delicious, too. Atmosphere was great and all staff were very friendly!
Fabulous date night!
My husband and I went there for a special date night. From the minute we walked in we felt like all the staff gave us amazing attention. The food was absolutely delicious and they took a picture of us and gave it to us for keepsake. Such a classy, delicious and inviting restaurant!
I have made several visits to this Morton's location, having worked in the building for several years. An exceptional restaurant experience and steakhouse for many years has unfortunately seen better days. The acquisition by Landry's in late 2011 has marginalized what was outstanding food service and product. Regardless, you can still visit and expect an above-average high-end prime steakhouse experience, even if its not quite what it once was. I try to pick up on their prix fixe special offerings when they're available (currently running a 3-course special: salad/soup, entree w/ accompaniment, plus dessert for $36). The seafood selections have also been very good, especially their Jumbo Shrimp Alexander and their pan-seared scallops. Drinks and Bar Bites in the bar is also a good experience, with appetizer selections starting at $7 during their Power Hour.
Average mortons. Its nice but then it should be for that price!
if downtown on a sunday i reckon this is the best bet
Great cut of beef. I had a wonderful piece of meat here, it was cooked correctly and had great flavor. Service was spot on even though the place was really busy.
We loved Morton's! The food and service was excellent 👌 Our waiter was David he was super nice and professional! Ask for him if you go! The lamb chops were the best even better than Perrys steak and The chefs Table! And don't get me started about the 🍞! They have the best hands down out of all the fine dining we've experienced! We will definitely be back!
Was here for a business lunch meeting. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the steak which you will see a picture of. My business partner had the Salmon. I had water so I cannot share with you how the drinks are.
My wife and I had a date night and decided to enjoy some wonderful food! The steaks were phenomenal, sides were delicious though if you like fried/seared and tossed brussel sprouts, you may want to avoid their sauteed brussel sprouts as there is no coating and it might be a bit too strong for your taste buds. The service was phenomenal, the mocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable. We came when they opened though we also had reservations via OpenTable just in case. Whether you are staying downtown for a night on the town, or just want to celebrate one of life's many wins, you can't go wrong with Morton's, you get what you pay for and believe you me! Sometimes it's best to splurge a little bit!
Let me set the scene for you. It’s 100° in Houston. You’re going to a steakhouse it feels like you’re in New York. Nice cool AC and dark theme going. You got Frank Sinatra playing in the background and that first bite of filet mignon hits your taste buds :-). This is what it is like going to Morton’s. Try the mashed potatoes, bread, Mac N Cheese. This place gives you plenty of portions and you will be full. Don’t forget to try the Key Lime Pie.
Delicious food and drinks!
The chicken cordon blue was amazing. The mint bar for dessert with the mint drink were the perfect cap off.
My husband and I came here for the first time and it was excellent! We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary and our waiter David was great! He asked if we were celebrating anything special so we told him it was our anniversary so he put some confetti on our table and he took our picture :) we ordered the meatballs for an appetizer and they were great! We both ordered filets for our entrees and they were so tender, melted like butter! We ordered coffee and the hot chocolate cake for dessert and it was so delicious! While we were eating our dessert, the manager, Anthony, came over and handed us our picture that was taken along with a rolled up menu that said happy 10 year anniversary on it :) when we got our bill they had given us the dessert free of charge since it was a special occasion! We highly recommend Mortons! The food was delicious and the staff was excellent! Thank y’all for a wonderful experience!
I had my engagement event at Morton's. Everyone was very warm and welcoming, starting with the manager. He was very kind and worked with me diligently to make sure the event turned out great. The food was supreme, so you definitely cannot go wrong with Morton's. There is valet parking for $12 if you do not want to walk to the garage.
Outstanding 8oz ribeye. Medium temp was evenly achieved on the whole steak. Very attentive service. Tends to get noisy, but nice ambiance. Lobster Mac and cheese was creamy good. Bread pudding and cheese cake were decadent - 7 of us shared them 😂
Celebrated my birthday there with family & LOVED the service, VERY ATTENTIVE, GM stopped by table to check up on us & we gave RAVE REVIEWS. Fresh onion bread & butter were amazing. I've had better steaks but the service & happy hour will bring me back!
Absolutely delicious filet, loaded baked potatoes and wedge salad. Topped the dinner off with the most amazing bread pudding. They didn’t skimp on any part of the meal. Everything from the welcoming staff, atmosphere, speed of service and taste of our meal was top notch.
