Gatlin's Bbq - Houston - Photo album

Great BBQ Joint. We ventured into Houston to visit Gatlin's BBQ for brunch and of course we ordered the off-menu breakfast brisket biscuit ... very good and filling. The brisket was moist and tasty ... not as smokey as I like it but my wife said it was perfect. Really good people at the front runnin
Excellent food. The meat, barbeque sauce, potato salad, cucumber salad and baked beans were so delicious. The spicy sausage was fantastic. The restaurant is very clean. The service was excellent.
Good food, nice folks, great atmosphere. I gave it 4/5 because this is Texas and BBQ is king. It is good but I probably wouldn't go back until I tried more spots. It it worth a try though if you have never been. People are very nice here.
Me and my family visited Gatlin bbq today and it felt right at home. The food was cooked to perfection, the customer service was amazing and we had a wonderful time just eating and enjoying the ambiance of the restaurant. Mama came out and gave great suggestions of the best items on the menu to try.
On my trip around the world we’re in Houston, TX. I had the brisket rib plate with macaroni and fried okra as the sides. From the picture you can see that’s a huge rib. It was burnt on the outside and more fatty than meat. The sides were initially cold but they fixed them again with no problems. Cus
So I had a taste for some good BBQ, and boy did I find a jewel within this place!! Nice establishment, with a very ambient atmosphere. Excellent service, and great ownership/leadership. I ordered the 3 meat combo plate, with smoked brisket, ribs, and venison sausage, with collard greens, cornbread,
A good bit of variety to choose from with meats and sides. Also a decent amount of option from plates/sandwich combos. The brisket was very tender and can be cut with a plastic fork! Loved the yams, dirty rice, and fried okra too.
Our daughter-in-law came with my wife and I to this smoky meat palace and we're sure glad we did! Everything we tried was the best of the best. we got the three meat plate with two sides and got an extra meat. The moist end brisket...the lady that took our order asked me to specify....most places
I like the style of ordering as individuals rather than trying to guess how much you need for your whole party. It was very tasty. Nothing was a big standout although the baby back ribs were definitely tasty. The second dining room was very cold but the staff tried to adjust the temperature. Great s
Barbecue was overall pretty good and the options for sides was really nice. Food came out pretty fast and it wasn't too bad for barbecue made in *Texas*. Ribs, baked beans, and venison sausage stood out
This bbq joint was not only on my father's list of restaurants to visit, but mine as well. I'm so happy we finally pulled the trigger to visit. First, my parents are on the southwest side of Houston, so I considered this visit a small journey (it's worth it). We ordered our family meal to go: brisk
I was staying in the area for a few days, so I googled restaurants in the Heights area. I decided I wanted BBQ so I went to Gatlin's. Well, I ordered a 3 meat plate...paid extra for baby backs that seemed to be regular spare ribs. The ribs were okay. The brisket was good and tender. The sausage was
Food is great, worth the money. Definitely will come back again.
Great food and friendly service. We had the brisket sandwich, the turkey and pastrami on rye, and yams, corn, and dirty rice. Everything was delicious!
I came here twice to try out their food, I ordered the Huevos Rancheros & the Brisket plate. The Huevos Rancheros for $8.99 you get 2 eggs on a tostada with refried beans with bacon (the substitution of pork belly was $4). The eggs were under cooked, I ordered them over medium I blame the cashier
