Can’t wait to go back- great food & amazing staff! I’m not a fan of beef ribs and when I sampled the pork ribs my mind was blown by how they easily fell of the bone and how flavorful they were. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese. This is a great place to hang out with friends and family. I made a bee line to the food line when I entered and completely didn’t see they have a bar. I’m gonna have to grab a beer next time with my food. Also, the staff is friendly and very helpful. It was our first time there and the workers gladly helped us order and try different meats.

I went on a Thursday afternoon and there was no line. I got brisket and jalapeño sausage. They threw a rib on my order for free to try. All three meats were great. The brisket was tender and just the right amount of fat. Sausage was spicy and not dry like so many places I go. I’m not the biggest rib fan but these were great. I also got the jalapeño rice for a side. The rice was very good too but I filled up without finishing it.

Our first time here and my wife and I were happy happy. Out of all the other BBQ restaurants in Texas, this is the best by far. The brisket was absolutely delicious, super tender, juicy and with the perfect smoky touch. We also ordered a pull pork sandwich and it was out of this world. Even the pickles, jalapeños, the tangy coleslaw salad were fresh and tasty. Thanks Joe for making us feel at home. For sure we’re coming back.

Nut allergy friendly, haven't had the desserts but everything else is safe! Arguably one of the best barbecue spots in Houston, Pinkerton's is one of the only places inside the 610 loop that does a beef rib. And their beef rib is killer. Fatty, moist, great char. For four people I ordered a pint each of the Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, and potato salad; one pound of brisket, a half pound of pork ribs, and one beef rib that was approximately one pound. If you like bread, make sure you get enough for your table because they only gave me three slices for four people and the line got crazy long so I didn't cut back in to get more. Everything was great. One of my party enjoyed the pork rib more than the beef rib, but everyone else loved the beef ribs and brisket. I'd say the sides aren't the best but they're staples of Texan barbecue. Awesome that they have a full bar at very reasonable prices. Happy hour Thursdays with $2 beers.

Recommend the beef brisket sandwich @ $15.99. They take a hearty portion and dice it up in front of you, and serve it in a super soft bun. Efficient ordering system. Staff surreptitiously cleaning up your food trays is a super nice touch. Non nonsense seating yet inviting. Avoid the bacon Mac and cheese, was underwhelming. Coleslaw was okay but nothing to rave about.

Awesome BBQ, Brisket, pork ribs are fantastic. Brisket smokes around 18hrs very melt in your mouth. Perfect!! The atmosphere was fun and the outdoor patio was great.

Pinkerton’s executes top tier bbq with choices to match. Everything was delicious and different. Normally shops specialize in limited meats, but Pinkerton’s has something for everyone. The pork ribs had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. They still have slight bite as opposed to overcooked ones that are almost pulled pork. The brisket was tender and juicy with a nice flavorful rub that was not overly salted. The duck jambalaya was a nice surprise with a ton of flavor. I wish it had more meat, but it was great. Parking is a bit tough and the line can stack up, but it moves very fast. The team chopping the meat goes so fast that you fear for their fingers!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pinkerton's BBQ, and it was truly a delightful experience. The brisket, beef ribs, turkey, chicken, and sausage were all nothing short of amazing. The flavors were rich, and the meats were cooked to perfection. However, I have to admit that the mac and cheese, while good, was missing that extra something to make it outstanding. Overall, Pinkerton's BBQ offers an exceptional barbecue experience that is definitely worth a visit.

The food is amazing! I came for brisket and I wasn't disappointed. It was so tender and flavorful. Everything I ate was well made. However, the bananas foster pudding was a piece of heaven. I walked around with the spoon in my mouth well after it was done. The prices are high but also worth it. The restaurant has a no frills, cafeteria style setting. The food takes center stage. I'm not a fan of the setting, but it may appeal to others.

Visited at 11AM on a Sunday, and a queue was already forming! Tried the brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs and a couple of sausages and sides - and everything was top-notch! Dense & full of flavor. The decor too was old world & rustic - just bare wooden tables & benches in a 1900s kind of dining hall - the focus being purely on food! Had a memorable meal there!

Still waiting for Google to implement 10 stars.... because Pinkerton's would get it. Brisket was juicy, with the perfect amount fat ratio. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with the perfect amount of flavor and spice. And the bacon mac and cheese.... I means it's bacon mac and cheese, you can't go wrong!

We stopped by during the week on a Wednesday around 1 PM. The place was busy, but moving right along. The seating is cafeteria style, so get in where you fit in. It was my first time (shame on me) trying this BBQ and to sum it up 🤤🤤🤤 We ordered two sliced prime brisket sandwiches, pork ribs, jambalaya, mac and cheese, jalapeno rice, south Texas beans and some of Aunt Ruby's Blueberry Cobbler. Unfortunately, we were not fans of the jalapeno rice and the blueberry cobbler. The rice lacked flavor and was pretty sticky. The cobbler, although sweet, it did not seem fresh. Cobbler should be served and enjoyed nice and warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, this cobbler was not it. Overall, delicious and they've gained a new customer.
