Hugo's - Houston - Photo album

The food at Hugos is phenomenal. Each item tasted very authentic and fresh. I highly recommend going during the happy hour as you can get great deals on drinks, appetizers, and tacos. During non happy hour, the food is pretty expensive and may not be worth it to some even though the flavor is great.
I had the angus beef with mole and bean tamale and it was very delicious! The tamale was so good! The mole sauce was also great, the steak could have a little improvement (was not as tender) but other than that would highly recommend this plate! My husband had the duck mole and it was falling off th
Wonderful experience. Beautiful restraunt and great staff. Our waitress went out of her way to help us find something my autistic toddler would eat. Our food was so good and the drinks were yummy. Will go again.
First time coming to Hugo’s and it was a great experience. Drinks were in point. Food was delicious and service excellent. It turned into one of my favorite restaurants around Houston area …
Authentic Mexican food done beautifully. We didn’t have a reservation but were very lucky to be seated inside the main dining room. The decor was bright, open, elevated and classy. We also notice how we both liked their their dinnerware, cocktail glass, and dinner table that we almost want to get th
Loved it. My wife and I had dinner before going to see Wicked at the Hobby Center. Fantastic meal. For an appetizer we had the ceviche - super tasty and incredible chips that were very crispy. She had the duck and I had the slow roasted pork. Really tasty and fall off the bone meat. The moles and sa
Good food, service and ambience! Went here for a dinner on a weekday. The have valet parking. Indoor seating. The ambience is great! Service is fantastic. We were looking for vegetarian options and they had plenty. Their salsa and guac was fresh and good. You can get refills on the chips only. The p
Omg I cannot even tell you how special they make me feel on my bday, first there was a bday card from Hugos, we ordered lechon for appetizer, two drinks, after order carne asada or brava I don’t remember exactly and then dessert churros and crepes, they gave an extra plate with happy birthday wishes
My sisters and I brought our mom here for Mother's Day and it was pretty busy as expected. The experience was great and we would come back and try their dinner menu. Restaurant is on the finer dining side, not the typical Mexican restaurant with the generous portions and cheaper prices. Parking can
We went for the Houston Restaurant month. Food was delicious & interesting, beautifully decorated. Plenty of choices between 3 different menus. Definitely worth the visit.
Went for Brunch Buffet has excellent amount of variety in the dishes from Chicken, Beef, shrimp, eggs, potatoes etc.. I would definitely check on some dishes that needs higher temp to keep the food hot, fresh and avoid any food allergens and assign a person who can maintain the buffet. Desert tab
Nice atmosphere. The service is very good. Good margaritas, but I would prefer more drink and less ice. Adequate wine, beer, cocktail choices. For food we ordered COCTEL DE CAMARON 4/5, PULPO AL CARBÓN 3.5/5, GUACAMOLE, SALSA Y TOTOPOS 4/5, CARNITAS 4/5, and PAPAS GRATINADAS 4.5/5.
The food was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection! Might sound crazy but you gotta try the chapulines aka grasshoppers.
Top notch award winning Mexican restaurant (including several James Beard awards)… probably the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at and not to be confused in any way with TexMex. I’ve eaten here for almost 20 years and am amazed that standards remain constantly high. Love it 🇲🇽
Wow! Hugo's is amazing. The food is top notch, flavourful and beautifully presented. The cocktails are excellent and the service is quick, friendly and personalized - thanks Albert! Highly recommend Hugo's 👌
First time coming for brunch and it won't be the last! Seasonal corn tamales were excellent and the veg egg benedict type dish was also amazing.
Finally I was able to try Hugo's and the food did not disappoint. Hugo's is definitely worth visiting. All things considered it is worthy of a 4.75 rating! My family and I were welcomed with the complimentary valet (great touch) and a cheerful hostess who seated us immediately. Our server was very
Great food. Especially the brunch buffet. It is a little pricey at $42 per person but it honestly is kind of worth it. Valet is complementary so parking was easy. Otherwise it's be difficult. Everything was delicious. From entrees to dessert. Will definitely come back again.
