Joey's Seafood & Grill - Houghton - Photo album

Good atmosphere even when it took a little bit of time for us to get a table... The place was packed so we must've come at rush hour. The food was actually really good but a little pricier in some entrees. The crew was very welcoming and attentive, which is always appreciated 👍🏼
Delightful fishing-village styled eatery in downtown Houghton. They had a gluten free menu too! Our server was awesome and our party of four enjoyed the original fish sandwich & the grilled whitefish. Sides includes fries, hush puppies (what a treat!) & the best onion rings. Fish was excellent,
Joey’s segued and grill is absolutely the best. The food taste amazing, and the service was great. We were fortunate to be able to sit in the window. The food tasted amazing the gumbo is absolutely to die for. If I lived closer it would definitely be a weekly date night spot!
Amazing service and food! Everything was good, but I love, love the red beans n rice as well as the amazing Key Lime pie!!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! My fiance had the whitefish w/beans and I had the Lake superior trout w/ wild rice. Both were very good and we left full and satisfied. This was our 2nd time at Joey's and was just as good as the 1st time. Definitely recommend!
Cheesy artichoke was 👍. Fish n chips was 👍. Baked Haddock flavoring was alright, but was served *lukewarm*. Hard cider was local, which is nice, but wow it was like 6.9% alco. Can I talk about menu design? Sometimes you're just going through pages of menus and you have no idea what to get. "Joey" s
The service was great. I had an outstanding server . The garlic shrimp was good. I would have liked Jumbo for the price . How ever it was good .
Went on a Monday night and it was absolutely hopping. Great, fun atmosphere with staff always coming around to check on you. I got the coconut shrimp with garlic potatoes and onion rings and my friend got chicken Alfredo with garlic bread. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were hu
Loved this restaurant! The food and service were great. We were in town unexpectedly and relied on Google reviews to direct us to this place, and we're so glad for it. It's not a stuffy, white tablecloth type of place. You can relax, have good conversation, and enjoy a very delicious meal. Staff had
The appetizers were big portions and all food was flavored good. The service was great. The decor is very nice and there is a front and rear entrance.
Amazing food! Their gluten free menu is amazing, and they have a dedicated cook area. I had the jambalaya and didn’t have any issues with cross contamination. It was so good we came back a second time while we were in town.
I can't say enough good things about this place & who we found out was the owner. Allen I believe. Wait staff was very good. Food was excellent. Service quite fast for being so busy. We witnessed an event.... It was closing time & a group of 9 stepped in asked if they could be served, The owner
We had dinner late on a Wednesday. Our server was wonderful. We were seated right away even though they were quite busy. The Malibu shrimp is delicious. We also had the parmesan encrusted salmon special which was wonderful as well. A great selection of delicious sides, and I highly recommend that ev
Excellent food and atmosphere! If you are looking for great seafood with a laid-back nautical theme, this is the place to go. The food is phenomenal, and the key lime pie is probably the best I have ever had. Very pronounced lime flavor, and it is not too sweet. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Service was very friendly, food was fresh and hot. Wife had the fish tacos which had big pieces of fish on them. I ordered the fish and chips. The beer batter had a good flavor, was nice and crispy. Cole slaw lacked much flavor. Really enjoyed the spinach artichoke appetizer we had as well.
Stopped in at 8 pm on a Saturday. We were told a 20-minute wait, but it was only 10. Friendly hostess and waiter. Place was very busy and all the people I could hear loved the food. Food came out at an adequate pace for having a nice dinner and drink. We had the Rangoons as an appetizer. Amazi
