Hopewell quick lunch is one-of-a-kind it's been there about one hundred years and it's just what you would think it is. A great grill that sells a devildog which is a hotdog with mustard onions chili and jalapeno peppers.
Excellent service veteran friendly handicapped accessible , nice people good country folks and best food delicious tasty ,clean store, I'd come back again. Owner a great history buff and knows city well.
If you are into the old school dinner feel. Where everyone knows who you are. Is friendly, and has great food. This place is for you. I eat here a lot. You can’t beat the price anywhere. The staff is all friendly. The food is great. The best hotdogs you can find it’s their signature thing here. They have special names for everything dealing with it. Lot of history on the walls. Nice little place that you can easily miss. If you get the chance and your hungry stop by. You can always get it to go.
Service was friendly and the food was good. Made sure to get the famous hot dogs and well worth it. The cook made awesome toast too with the dumplings lol
My favorite place for hot dogs! Looks like a dive from outside, inside isn't a whole lot better looking, but the food is quite good. It closes early in the day, so go before 2pm. French fries are also usually very good. You only get one refill on your drink, but then the drinks are cheaper than they are anywhere else too, so it's ok.
There's no picture of the food because I ate it before think about writing a review. Pancakes are amazing here. I would come just for the pancakes and bacon. They serve great hot and fresh coffee (8 O'clock brand). Everything is made fresh to order so be prepared to wait a few minutes for your order. The wait is worth it.
We were there about 2 weeks ago for the 2nd time. They have great hot dogs and fries and the service was excellent. This is by no means a fancy place, but we go there for the food and good service. We will be back soon to try out the breakfast!
