Pizza was excellent! Up here from Massachusetts to visit my brother. Had the chicken BBQ pizza, asked for crispy crust. It was cooked exactly the way I like it. Will be back!

Wandered in to kill some time while my wife’s shoe was getting repaired across the street. The store has a little sandwich shop and serves draft beer for a modest price. Loved our lunch, Great menu items for much less than touristy Camden.

Love the HGS. Great fresh made sandwiches and pizza. GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS available. Other general store items. Great people very friendly. Local honey also. Prices are very reasonable.

A favorite general store of mine. Hope General, and the town of Hope in general, sure live up to their name. I always hope my travels take me near this place, especially at lunchtime, so I can get some of their terrific pizza! The coffee is always hot, and fresh baked goods are very tasty and plentiful. Locally crafted items, beverages and snacks plus all the usual general store items (ie - a little bit of everything) round out the selection here. Downtown Hope always makes me smile too, there are nice folks and solar panels everywhere... always reminds me of that song: 'Just give me some hope!' Sometimes I (unconsciously) start singing it when I get near this store and when I get there, I'm always happy!

The Hope General store has just about everything you could want, from sugar to cell phone chargers. They have a kitchen with sandwiches and pizza, coffee by the cup or by the pound, and a good selection of beer, wine, and groceries. The staff are really nice, I enjoy coming in here.
