Super good! High quality, very tender meat. Flavor was great in all our dishes. Only downside is the meat is in very big pieces. Like whole chicken thighs😅 not a big deal just not personal preference. Very convenient location for travelers, right off the highway and fast service. We had a larger order and it was ready in 15 min. I’d recommend!

Friendly little restaurant. The owners can usually be found in the booth by the front door. The food is good and the hot flower soup is the absolute best hot flour soup I have found anywhere. The beef dishes are very tender lean cuts of beef and they carry large portions. You will not be disappointed. Room for RV parking across street.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. I had to stop and see if Grace still owned this place and she does. The China Gorge Restaurant still has the same great food and service. It's just a short distance from I-84 with easy off and on ramp access. Highly recommend eatery!

Fast service , fresh food. Top notch. Must stop here if your hungry for Chinese food. I had the sweet and shrimp, best I have had.. my boy had the kung pow chicken, he was very pleased..

Super nice staff and food was available very fast but that was the worst Chinese food meal I have ever had. Traditional chicken, pork and beef dishes were served in giant 5-6 inch pieces, impossible to eat with chopsticks, which were strange in texture and taste....wiggly, no crunch, not bite size, with overpowering concentrated thick sauce. Fried rice had good texture and cooked right but.... had no egg, none. Hot and sour soup was good.. The price was high and the quality was low. Will not be back. Sad.

I haven't visited Hood River for several months. We felt comfortable with inside dining, but take out is also available. Staff is masked, tables are separated, extra precautions are followed. The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly and efficient.

I have always wanted to try this place and I'm thrilled I finally got the chance. Did takeout although they are open for dine in if that's your jam. Were only a few tables seated when I got my food but they were all spaced out throughout the restaurant which was great to see as the crowd was all senior citizens.
Got the three jewels platter - WOW. The mushrooms were cooked really nicely, big halves of button mushrooms not flimsy slices. The sweet and sour pork was very good! But the star was the ginger beef. Perfectly cooked zucchini and SO much fresh ginger. I love a good ginger bite and this was so good. May be overwhelming for people not so into big shreds of ginger in your food.
Fried rice, Egg rolls and fried wonton were fine.
lo mein was good and portion is enormous.
Overall super pleased and will totally be back!
