We stopped just for a snack, but it turned into us having lunch. It’s been fun letting bartenders make our drinks based on what we like when we know there is a full bar.
The Mac and Cheese was listed as a Specialty on the menu, so I was ready to be impressed. Let me tell you. OMG. This was freaking amazing. It wasn’t full of extras, just the best ingredients. As much as I wanted to just sit and shovel it in my mouth, I made myself eat it very slow so I could enjoy and remember it forever.
My lunch companion’s meals were described as good and tasty. The fresh cut fries were really, really good.
Establishment was clean, the service was friendly and prompt.

The blackened chicken burger was by far the best I've ever had. Service was great. Didn't really care to hear the manager/owner discussing previous hires and whether or not they would rehire for the coming season. The cook was passionate about his St. Patties Day special and it sounded like a delicious Irish Whisky stew.

How have I not already written a review for this place… maybe because I’m having too good of a time when I’m there and when I wake up in the morning I have greasy fry fingers that I won’t touch my iPhone with because it’s a $1,000 pocket computer. The Jell-O shots are reason enough to drive to hood river and if you find a pair of heart glasses … they’re mine.

For the price of the food I felt the food was mediocre. I could have made the same stuff my family and I ordered at home. The service was great though

So, this place has a lot going for it. If they could dial in the grub, they'd have a winning combination. I had the Uranium burger, and for a Garlic and Blue Cheese Burger my taste buds were thoroughly underwhelmed. The staff were friendly and courteous as well as quick. The fries that accompanied my burger were very good. I just wish I had been able to move some of that flavor to my burger. This really is a fun little hole in the wall, smack dab in the midst of Hoodsville on Oak. Give it a go sometime. Mileage may vary. 🤣

The food was good and seasoned well. The margarita 🍹 was on point. This is one of our favorite places to go in Hood River.
